Now discussing about these three colleges , Xavier's College is the best option among all the private colleges, it has a good infrastructure and best ambience. But Presidency College is also a very good option but more famous for Arts Stream. JU is the best opportunity among the government colleges specially for Science Stream. Both colleges are great for BA sociology, but St Xavier's College has an edge over Presidency University in terms of placement. The average packages are 5.5 LPA and 3.5 LPA respectively. Also ratings and ranking of Xavier's College is a little higher.

At Presidency University the total fees for the three year degree is around 13k while at Xavier's College it is 23k.

A college can provide opportunities to their students but the skill of the student grabs the seat. Also, if can not find any job then there are many off-campus drives available for the hiring of graduates, you can easily participate in them.

See presidency university is one of the prominent university of west Bengal as well as in India. however currently there is no placement cell for students. most of the students go for research or masters courses after completing bachelors. however Individual placement has arranged as per department wise. according to students review placement is comparatively good for economics and statistics department. however it would depends on which of the department you would take admission.

Well with a master's degree you can expect to get some low pay scale jobs in some organisations and elsewhere. But mostly you will ahve to go for a PhD before thinking about getting a stable job. Academic degrees usually demand the student to have PhD in India before getting a good job. Again this is just a genral trend that you will see and there are exceptions.
