Application Form of PAU entrance exam 2020 will be made available online as well as offline and is up to the applicant on how they wish to apply for the examination. Below mentioned are a few points that must be kept in mind by the applicants while they fill up their application forms:
Online mode
Applicants need to pay an amount of Rs. 5640/- for each Entrance Test that includes the cost of downloaded form/Prospectus.A valid unique email ID is necessary to apply for the examination.
A recent passport size coloured photograph with size up to 50 KB in JPG/JPEG format and scanned copy of signature (black/blue) with size up to 50 KB needs to be uploaded while filling the online application form.
A verification link will be sent to the applicant’s email ID. The candidate has to click on the verification link to complete the submission process of the application.
After verification, the candidate has to login using his email ID and Date of Birth to download the Application form and pay Application fees.
To pay fees, the applicants get two different modes and can pay according to their convenience:
Online payment (Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking) OR Challan mode (Offline)
After successful payment, the candidate must print the payment receipt. The candidate must immediately send the fee Receipt along with computer-generated print-out of Application Form duly signed by the candidate and his/her parents/guardian to:

In the Offline mode:
Applicants need to pay Rs. 4200/- for the Entrance Test in addition to the cost of the Prospectus (Rs. 2120/- (at the Counter) or Rs. 2260/- (by Post)). Prospectus and Application form can be obtained from the following address - The Additional Director of Communication, Communication Centre, PAU, Ludhiana–141 004 (near University Gate Number 1) personally on payment of Rs. 2120/- in cash at the counter or by post by sending bank Demand Draft of Rs. 2260/- in favour of - Additional Director of Communication, payable at Ludhiana.
The name of Programme for which the form is required must be mentioned in the request and also at the back of the bank Demand draft.
All columns in the Application form must be filled and written carefully and correctly by the candidate in his/her handwriting.
Incomplete Application form becomes liable to be rejected without owing any explanation to the applicant.
The candidate must paste one latest passport size photograph on the Application form and attach another passport size photograph (similar to the one pasted on the application form) with the Application form.
The candidate must also keep two identical photographs with him/her for pasting it on the Admit Card and other on the white Application form to be filled at the time of Counselling.
The Entrance examination fee must be deposited in HDFC Bank, using Challan Form, available in the PAU Prospectus. The bank will return two parts of the Challan Form duly stamped with journal number. The candidate must retain the candidate’s copy of Challan Form and send the University copy of the Challan Form along with the printout of the duly filled Application Form to The Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana–141004
The tentative date for the release of the application form in 23rd April.

The syllabus consists of 4 sections:
Section-I: Agriculture Aptitude
Knowledge of candidates in vernacular language about the measurements of land, cultivation of several Rabi & Kharif crops, vegetables & fruits, fertilizers, farm tools, implements, weeds, and general agriculture and allied sources.
Section-II: General Science
The syllabi will be the same as the syllabus for 9th and 10th standard of Punjab School Education Board/ Central Board of Secondary Education / Indian Certificate Secondary Education.
Section-III
General English The syllabus will be the same as the syllabus for 9th and 10th class of Punjab School Education Board/ Central Board of Secondary Education.
Section-IV: Mathematics The syllabus will be the same as the syllabus for 9 and 10th standard of Punjab School Education Board.
The exam pattern is as follows:
Section-I: Agriculture Aptitude: It will consist of 50 questions.
Section-II: General Science: It will consist of 30 questions.
Section-III: General English: It will consist of 10 questions.
Section-IV: Mathematics: It will consist of 10 questions.

PAU Ludhiana is the oldest university in the field of Agricultural Education. It was established in 1962. It offers UG, PG and Ph.D. courses in different specializations.
Application form can be filled online or can be obtained in person or by post. The applications will begin from April 23,2020 and will last till 14 may,2020.

Both the colleges are good for pursuing BSC agriculture.
But comparatively, Chaudhary Charan Singh University is more better than Punjab agricultural University.
Although Punjab agricultural University has lower fees.
Charan Singh University offers various facilities like gym ,cafeteria, WiFi, hostel etc.
The teaching faculty is also good there.

This year the application forms were out in the last week of April and the last day was till mid of May. The entrance is conducted in the last week of month of June and interview and councelling is carried out in mid week of July.
Generally the forms are out around the same time. Keep a check on the website of PAU. I hope this is a little bit helpful.
Yes the college infrastructure is pretty good. Its campus is very large and very beautiful. It has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. It has libraries with sitting capacity for many students.
The university is fully equipped with labs. Library provides with lots of books . Wifi facilities is available only at few locations . Classrooms are old and maintenance is average . Quality of food is served in canteen .
The infrastructure of the university is big and too good. All the facilities are available like hostel, wifi, ATM and many more. There are many eating spots like canteens and cafes. There is a library with all the essential books needed. For exploring the university you can get cycles at the entrance. The classrooms are well - ventilated.
