B.Sc. (Hons) Biotechnology Is a three-year undergraduate programme offering a strong foundation of biotechnological concepts Biotechnology is one of the most emerging fields in today’s education system. It creates technologies and products that help to improve human life. The Recent advances in biotechnology have helped to face the most difficult challenges faced by society. The latest technologies are found to be of great help in fighting diseases, reducing environmental harm, using less and clean energy, and having a safe and clean industrial manufacturing process.

To date, more than 250 health care products and vaccines are made available to patients who have been found to be effective in diseases that were difficult to treat before. The farmers have benefited a lot from agricultural biotechnology. Biotechnology with its recent advances has helped us to face the difficult challenges of society.

All this shows that the scope of Biotechnology as a career option is very promising as every other day there are amazing discoveries, new applications, and innovative products introduced in the market. SAGE University Indore offers a Biotechnology course that enables the students to contribute to the benefits of society. Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are appearing in the respective qualifying examination prescribed for eligibility for admission to a particular program of study are considered eligible for appearing in the entrance examination. However, in the event of their selection, they are granted admission subject to their securing the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and submission of all documents including the final mark sheet of the qualifying examination. The SC/ST. and Physically Challenged (Handicapped) candidates who have passed the qualifying examination irrespective of their percentage of marks are eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination.

Admission Details

Admissions in all courses which are offered by the University will be done As per Merit basis based on marks of qualifying examination, who are eligible (fulfill the eligibility as per criterion) and shall be done strictly according to it. The admission procedure will be completed before the commencement of the academic session or the last date of the admission decided by the Academic Council.

College Infrastructure

Our college has very good infrastructure. We have spacious classrooms with projectors and every lab have ac facilities in it. Whole campus has good wifi connection. There is library for students with many books and journals. College also have hostel facilities.
