36 MonthsMaster of Computer Application (MCA) is three-year full-time degree course and its offered by Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University and approved by AICTE.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate with minimum three year bachelor degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the UGC, with mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics/Business Statistics/Quantitative Techniques as one of the subjects either at +2 or at Bachelor level, with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST category) in qualifying examination.
MCA (Lateral Entry): All those candidates who have passed recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a Course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying
Examination.
Admission Details
The admissions will be done on the basis of qualifying exam in accordance with the guidelines mentioned in the notification (s) issued by the MRSPTU Bathinda from time to time.
