72 MonthsPh.D. program in Design shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, the course offered by Sigma University, Vadodara.
Eligibility Criteria
- A master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade OR
- A 4-year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with at least 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade OR
- An M.Phil degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
- Candidates appearing in the final year Degree examination can also apply, provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria at the time of joining the program.
Admission Details
The final selection will be based on a weightage of 70% for the entrance test and a weightage of 30% for the viva-voce.
A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
