B.Lib.I.Sc and M.Lib.I.Sc Integrated is a full-time two-year Department of Library and Information Science course and it is offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed B.A. / B.Sc. (Honours) in Library and Information Studies of this University may apply for admission into the Integrated B. Lib. I. Sc. –M. Lib. I. Sc. course. 60% of total seats will be filled up from CU current year students strictly in order of merit on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in B.A. / B.Sc. (Honours) in Library and Information Studies. The rest 40% of total seats will be filled up through Entrance Test from the students along with back year students having passed Honours or Masters Degree in any stream from this University or from any other recognized Universities in India and abroad.

Admission will be made as per University rules and that may be framed on the basis of guidelines published by the University from time to time.
