Calcutta University Facilities

Calcutta University has all the facilities to offer to its students to provide them with a convenient and comfortable environment to study. Calcutta University facilities include a library, hostels, playground, auditorium, laboratories, health centre, etc. University of Calcutta has hostels that can accommodate up to 1500 students.

Boys Hostel
There are 16 Halls & Hostels under the University of Calcutta providing accommodation to about 1550 students studying in the University Colleges of Arts, Commerce, Science, Technology, and Law and also the Undergraduate students of the colleges as well as men research scholars/fellows of the University.
Girls Hostel
The university has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The hostels are well maintained with all the required amenities.
Medical/Hospital
The university has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The medical facilities are offered by well trained professionals.
Library
The university has a library facility for all students. The library is well equipped with books and journals related to all departments in which courses are offered by the institute.
Sports
The university has sports facilities for all students. Calcutta university provides facilities for indoor games and outdoor sports inside the campus. Students at the college are also encouraged to participate in several sports events.
I.T Infrastructure

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of our college is quite good. We also get access to Wi-Fi and internet, tha classrooms are also mostly clean. The good thing is that we also get proper access to the library, which is very important for the law students. The hostels can be made much better same goes for the food, but we get much access to sport and games.

Good college in kolkata.

College Infrastructure

Calcutta University offers good facilities for students, including well-equipped labs, reliable Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, and a vast library. The hostel is decent, with clean rooms. The mess food is satisfactory, and the canteen offers a variety of options. Medical facilities are available and there are options for sports and games as well.

The University which has an unbeatable reputation. The infrastructure is good. It is situated in Kolkata, West Bengal. The classrooms have White Boards, there is a canteen, and a library which has a good collection of books. Best college to pursue higher studies in field of commerce

I did Ba in history can i get admission for Ma Psychology in Calcutta university?

As per your query I would glad to tell you that for to eligible for MA psychology you need to have passed graudation (ba or bsc) with atleast 55 percent in psychology stream . With ba history , I am sorry to say you are not eligible for Masters in pyschology stream in calcutta university, I would advise you to look for other streams related to your field and work hard in it
