Lucknow University Facilities

University of Lucknow provides a wide range of facilities for its students and staff. Lucknow University facilities provide separate hostels for boys and girls. Lucknow University facilities include residential facilities, a library, sports facilities, cafeteria, auditorium, medical facilities and many other facilities. All basic amenities have been provided in the hostels. The sports infrastructure is part of Lucknow University facilities and a gymnasium is also present on campus.

University of Lucknow library has a huge collection of books and other resources to help the students with their academics. University of Lucknow has a cafeteria that provides meals to the students, faculty and staff. There is a dispensary on campus that caters to all the medical needs of the students and staff. Lucknow University facilities also include a modern IT infrastructure. More details of the University of Lucknow facilities are given below.

Boys Hostel
The university provides residential facilities to both boys and girls. All basic amenities are made available. There are 10 hostels for boys.
Girls Hostel
Basic facilities like security, electricity, water supply are provided to the hostelers. There are 7 hostels for girls.
Medical/Hospital
Lucknow University dispensary provides facilities like free checkups and medicines to the staff and students. The old campus and the second campus have setups of the dispensary.
Gym
UL has a well equipped ‘Sir Maharaja Singh Gymnasium’. It is situated on the main campus with thirty-five exercise machines.
Library
Lucknow University library is called Tagore library. The library has more than 5 lakh books and more than 200 thousand journals. There is also a cyber library in UL which has online e-books, e-journals and open e-resources.
Sports
The university has the sports facilities for all students.
I.T Infrastructure
This centre has two servers, 70 nodes with latest configurations along with necessary software and printers etc to meet the needs of the students from all other branches. All the computers are connected through LAN. There is internet facility in the centre.
Cafeteria
5 canteens are present at the old campus and 3 on the new campus. Free and packaged food is available in these canteens.
Auditorium
The university has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Alumni Associations
The university has a good networking for alumni association.
Wifi
Internet with WI-FI Facility.
Laboratories
Well, Equipped Laboratory.
Convenience Store
The university has a convenience store on campus.
Banks/ATMs
Banking as well as ATM facilities are provided to the students and staff of the university.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
Lucknow University facilities include guest houses that have fully air-conditioned rooms and dormitories. Catering is also available at the guest house.

College Infrastructure

Just like any government college, the campus is huge with all the facilities but the classrooms are old and with iron benches in them. The college has huge sporting facilities and big grounds for football. It is connected with metro.

it has a very huge campus and a very big classrooms with a large area of studying and have a library which has mostly all the books of all the subject it has many canteen with good quality of tasty food

College Infrastructure

My college infrastructure is so fantastic. It's reminds the time of ancient India. Whole campus is full filled with greenery and neat and clean. Their are many faculty which are very good in their current status.

i have got 1132 open rank and 262 category rank obc in Lucknow University entrance exam will i get the admission in main campus

You haven't mention your course of which you have applied please specify that you get your answers more accurate.moreover, the selection is based on your entrance rank, let me tell you there are fixed number of seats for all the courses so you need to secure a good rank to get admission.there are more than 500 seats in each course and 30 seats in bsc particular branch each so you need to under rank 500 to get admission there.but sometimes students leave the course because they are selected somewhere else so there is chance that rank may increase.
