About Madras University

The Legislative Council of India passed an Act in 1857 that founded the University of Madras (UOM), Chennai. Co-ed in nature, it is a state university. The UGC has authorised Madras University, and NAAC has given it an "A++" rating. The Madras University Chennai offers courses at Diploma, UG, PG and PhD level.

Madras University courses include MA, M.Com, MCA, MBA, M.Ed and many other courses are offered. MBA and MCA admissions at Madras University are based on the scores secured in TANCET exam. The Madras University Chennai offers courses at the diploma level at both the PG Diploma and Diploma levels. At the postgraduate level, Madras University offers 8 programmes. The University of Madras offers M.Phil. programmes in a variety of subjects. University of Madras admission into the courses is given based on scores acquired in entrance exams and qualifying degree examinations. Amazing learning experience. You can explore genetics. The campus life is also good. Teachers are good at communication and expertise at the subject. The equipment and laboratory infrastructure is amazing. You can master required skills here.

Outstanding facilities, including WiFi in the library, lecture rooms, and laboratories. Beautiful surroundings and tidy living quarters. Every classroom has a smart board for interactive learning. Infrastructure and education was in high level.

Yes madras University has a huge campus, and surprisingly all the classes have lights and fans which is surprising. It has mediocre canteen facilities, the campus is moderately clean but it could be cleaner. Parking facility is available for staff as well students.
