Rajasthan University, Jaipur has a placement cell that ensures the smooth functioning of placement drives conducted at the campus. One of the main challenges was the lack of strong job opportunities. The university doesn’t have many industry ties, so finding a job right after graduation was tough. This is something to think about if you’re counting on campus placements to start your career.

In BCA there is no direct placement but this year few foundations came and provided jobs to a few candidates in mathematics as an associate. Also, some of them get job as teachers in their effort and this is more beneficial for further research work.

I have completed the first year in M.A. Geography at Rajasthan University with distance mode now I'm in the second year but this year I also enrolled for a B ed degree at regular mode with the same university. Is it legal?

Hello!

Yes, it is legal to pursue two degrees at a time. As per the guidelines under UGC (University Grants Commission), students can pursue two full time degrees simultaneously but under few criteria, like:

1- One course should be at regular mode and other at the distance mode.

2- Both course should be from UGC recognized institutions.

3- Both the course should be of same level.

4- This criteria does not apply to Phd Programs.

So, without any hesitation you continue your MA and BeD.
