VBSPU Jaunpur Facilities
All the facilities offered to the students at the university to provide them with a safe and comfortable environment to study. The university campus offers VBSPU Jaunpur hostel facilities to the students admitted to any UG or PG courses. There are four separate hostel buildings for boys and two for girls. In 2016, the central library has been awarded as a ‘Centre of Excellence, it has a rich collection of books, reference books, journals catering to the information needs of students.
Also, the library has wi-fi connectivity to provide internet facilities to the students. Furthermore, VBSPU Jaunpur facilities include an auditorium, sports facilities, computer centre and guest houses.

- Boys Hostel
The university has four hostels for boys students. VBSPU hostel facilities include students’ mess, dining hall, recreation rooms, study room, internet facility, gymnasium hall, etc. Students are required to follow the rules and regulations of hostels and the chief warden is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students. There is a hostel warden office in the hostel building to ensure hostel activities.
- Girls Hostel
The university has two separate hostels for girls. Each room is two/three seated with a cot, cupboard, study table and chair available for each student. Each hostel of VBSPU is well equipped with all the facilities such as internet facilities, recreational facilities, gymnasium hall, common rooms etc.
- Medical/Hospital
There are two health centres in the university one being managed by the university and has part-time doctors and staff for the OPD facility. The other one being managed by the government of Uttar Pradesh. The university also has ambulance services.
- Library
The university library is well stocked with professional Indian and foreign journals, newspapers, government publications, press clippings, reference books like encyclopedias, dictionaries, yearbooks, atlas, directories, etc.
- Sports
The university has a huge open stadium that can accommodate more than 5000 people and have witnessed various university sports events. The university offers basic facilities for conducting sports, NSS, rovers and rangers programmes.
- I.T Infrastructure
Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University IT Infrastructure is updated according to the student’s requirements. The university has a computer centre that caters to the computing needs of the students.
- Cafeteria
The cafeteria is the best place for students to be relaxed from their day to day life. All the food items that are offered in the cafeteria are hygienic and delicious.
- Auditorium
The university has a spacious auditorium that can accommodate 1000 people. The university believes in the all-around development of the students, an auditorium is a place where students can unmask their talents. VBSPU auditorium has separate rooms for conducting special programmes.
- Alumni Associations
The university has a good networking for alumni association.
- Guest Room/Waiting Room
VBSPU has two guest houses for visiting faculties and other people coming in the campus for different purposes. All the rooms are furnished and are equipped with all the facilities.
- Wifi
The university has Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

College Infrastructure
The classrooms are well-maintained and clean; all classes have more than two ventilation windows and a minimum of six fans in each classroom. The lab contains almost 50 computers for students. The lab has air conditioners. The hostel has an environment like a hometown; there is a warder always takes care.
Overall good experience.

College Infrastructure
Faculty members are good, and the infrastructure is not the best, but it doesn't feel too bad. The college doesn't have residential programs like hostels or dormitories, but you can rent a room nearby. The college has a library, but there is no Wi-Fi available for students, although some departments have Wi-Fi for specific purposes.
Experience is good.

The medium of JNUEE for MA Economics is English, candidates are tested on their analytical ability, and they have to be well informed about national and international importance pertaining to economic issues, you have to be thorough with economics at under graduation level, the important areas to be covered are mentioned below-
(i) Micro-economics (Demand Curves, Price and Income Elasticity of Demand, Cost Curves, Equilibrium of Firm under Perfect Competition and Monopoly)
Macroeconomics (National Income, Theories of Income Determination, Monetary Policy, Trade and Balance of Payments)
(ii) Problems of Economic History, Underdevelopment and Growth including India's Economic Development prior to Independence: India's Planning and Development experience since Independence; Basic indicators of Development, International Economics Issues of Contemporary Relevance
(iii) Descriptive Statistics (Mean, Median and Mode, Standard Deviation, Correlation Coefficient), Elementary Probability Theory, Mathematics for Economists (Elementary Algebra, Coordinate Geometry and Elementary Calculus)

coming to Delhi University which conducts DUET for MA Economics , for students of DU admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination, the entrance test is conducted for two hours, the medium is English, there are total of 100 questions for each question four marks are awarded, you must be thorough with microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometric, mathematics, statistics etc, you can consider going through previous year questions in order to know more details regarding both the entrance exams.
Purvanchal University allows its student to take calculators for the semesters examination provided one must ensure that the calculator is non-programmable. So you can take non-programmable scientific calculator to your 3rd semester examination for the BCA course.

SHUATS, Allahabad University, is a reputable institution of higher learning. Students are placed in businesses in about 60% of cases.
The greatest income given was about 35000 dollars, while the lowest salary offered was approximately 15000 dollars.
Teachers are very helpful and friendly, and the school's infrastructure is excellent.
A 'B+' grade institution, VBSPU is NAAC recognised, and the campus is identical to SHUATS, with placement opportunities that are comparable, but its infrastructure does not compare well to SHUATS.
It is recommended that you apply to SHUATS in Allahbad, since it is a superior college than VBSPU.
