24 MonthsMaster of Physical Education is full-time two-year course degree offered by Visva Bharati Santiniketan and approved by NCTE.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor of Physical Education (B. P. Ed.) Or equivalent with at least 50 % marks.
Or
Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) in Health and Physical Education with at least 50 % marks.
Reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC/ST/ OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government is applicable.
Note: All applicants must produce their original final mark sheets of previous public examinations and other relevant documents along with attested photo-copies thereof for verification failing which an applicant will not be permitted to appear in the admission test.
Admission Details
Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test with due weightage for physical fitness /other proficiency.
1. Admission will be made in order of merit on the basis of entrance test
2. Rankings in entrance test will be made out of 100 marks
3. Minimum qualifying marks in the entrance test will qualify a candidate to be included in the ranking of the scores.
4. Distribution of marks in entrance test (100 marks) will be made on the basis of:
a. Physical Fitness Test (Candidates to appear at their own responsibility and in sports attires) - 50 Marks
b. Written Test - 50 Marks.
