ANDC will be better than Deshbandhu College because in ANDC you will get a great research exposure. As you are interested in basic science then if you have the innovative mindset to know the unknown , the facility will really help you to grow in your field. Also the college have collaborations with premiere institutes like TiFR which will also give you a spectacular experience in your undergrad.
Teaching facility , faculties are actively involved in research so the methodology and the guidance for doing research and stuffs will be great and the knowledge in your field will be updated till date as the teachers are actively involved in research.
I hope my answer helps you. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Hey Geeta
Your information is not relevant to tell you whether you'll get admission in ANDC or not. The eligibility criteria which is taken into consideration for the Zoology hons course is determined by your PCB percentage. Calculate your PCB percentage and then match it with the previous closing cut off for the course. You've mentioned your category so as per previous cut off trends the closing cut off for Zoology hons was 78.66% (Eight cut off-SC category).
So, it can be estimated that this year too it will be somewhat around 79-80%.
Thanks
Can't say anything with surety, because this year the result of students are very bright, so there is chances of high cutoff and especially in general category, but still in 2,3,4 and 5 cutoff there are chances, so what you can do is that be careful with the schedule of the cut-off, and take admission in any good college in a course in which you want and secure your seat, and if in further list you get admission in another College in which you want you can change it then.
Good luck.
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that B.Com (//B.Com) Hons from College of Vocational Studies is a better option since CVS provides better placement assistance to students. The cultural activities, faculties and college exposure is better in College of Vocational Studies as compared to Acharya Narendra Dev College.
I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
Hey
Your PCM score is 76.6%. As per previous cut off trends of ANDC college, the closing cut offs of Computer Science hons and Physics hons for the SC category were 82% and 84.66% respectively. Also, ANDC offers 1% concession to girl candidates. However, your score seems even too low for being eligible this time, it's difficult to predict accurately that you may get a seat at ANDC.
Also, you can predict colleges here -

Hello Rishabh,
It is a simple numerical of simultaneous equations.
Let, the distributions received by A, B, C be x, y, z respectively.
So, from first condition,
x = 0.5 ( y + z )
So, 2x - y - z + 0................ ( 1 )
From second condition,
y = 1/3 ( x + z )
So, x - 3y + z + 0 .................... ( 2 )
Now, from third condition, x = y + 500 ........... ( 3 )
Putting value of ( 3 ) in eqn ( 1 ), we get,
y - z = -1000
So, z = y + 1000...... ( 4 )
Now, From ( 2 ), ( 3 ) & ( 4), we get,
y = 1500/-
Putting this value in eqn ( 3 ) and ( 4 ) we get,
x = 2000/-
z = 2500/-
Hence, the amount distributed among A, B and C was 2000/-, 1500/- & 2500/- respectively.
Best Wishes.
All the facilities are available in the college. Library is very good with free wi-fi being available for all the students. Different sports are available along with the classrooms having projectors. The labs have smart boards and all the lab equipments. Overall, the infrastructure is not that good when compared to the other DU colleges .
Although the college is not as large as other Delhi University Colleges, The facilities are still adequate for students. The campus, canteen and sports complex are all nicely organized and the classrooms have wifi installed.
Fairly good in terms of infrastructure, the labs are well equipped.... The rooms are spacious and well maintained too....Sports facilities are ample and the college has a huge play ground as well. Overall, the infra is optimal.
