The library was established during the year 1965. New premises were occupied on 28th September 1994. The modern library center funded by AHRDP as an annex to the main library was declared open on 23rd July 2001 for students' browsing centers.

The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

In 1965, the Agriculture College, Madurai was established and the Physical Education Unit was started in the year 1971. In 1976, When there was no swimming pool in and around the temple city, the renowned college had a swimming pool facility along with an outdoor stadium having a seating capacity of 800 spectators. The total area provided for the ground is 9 acres which includes all the court with separate facilities for both boys and girls to play.
