Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), is one of the most rated engineering colleges of Palakkad, Kerala. There are various engineering undergraduate programs offered by the college and diploma programs. ASET follows an admission process for selecting the deserving candidates according to their performance in entrance examinations at state levels.
The main entry mode to ASET B.Tech courses is Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM). It is an entrance test that is held on a state level annually for admission to engineering colleges in Kerala.
For B.Tech, the candidate needs to be 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as compulsory papers. The detailed eligibility can be variable course wise, but an overall minimum marks aggregate is sought in the examination qualifying one to get admissions here.
Application Process
Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology application process consists of the following steps:
1. Attend the KEAM entrance test held by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala.
2. Apply to the centralized allotment process (CAP) run by the government of Kerala for engineering admission.
3. Fill online application form for ASET through the CAP portal with academic and personal details.
4. Upload the 10+2 mark sheets, KEAM score card, and other documents as mentioned.
5. Pay as per the fee specified by the admission authority.
6. Expect allotment result based on KEAM rank and college/course order of preference.
7. In case of being allotted a seat in ASET, report to the college for verification of documents and confirmation of admission within the time limit.
8. Pay the fees as shown and finalize the admission procedures at ASET.
Degree wise Admission Procedure
B.Tech: ASET provides B.Tech courses in different specializations, i.e., Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Admissions for all B.Tech courses are conducted on the basis of the candidate's performance in the KEAM entrance exam. The college has a total of 360 seats for all B.Tech courses.
Diploma: ASET offers diploma courses in Automobile Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Hardware and Maintenance. Admission to each diploma course is of 60 seats. Diploma course admissions are according to the state diploma admission procedure.
