With AAMC just about entering its imprint level for undergraduate admission apart from being chiefly national, for undergraduate programs; it is to be through the NEET-UG. The postgraduate entry may be based on the NEET-PG. Application Process

Different applications have been set aside for the various courses provided by the Al-Azhar Medical College and Super Speciality Hospital. The following is the process for each program:

For MBBS:

1. Register for and take the NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA.
2. Qualify NEET-UG by scoring about the cutoff marks.
3. Apply to state counseling (Kerala), on the basis of NEET-UG score.
4. Attend the counseling process, which involves document verification and seat allotment.
5. If allotted a seat at AAMC, then report to the college for completing admission formalities and fee payment.

MD/MS Programs:

1. Register and appear for NEET-PG conducted by NBE.
2. Qualify NEET-PG by scoring above the cut-off marks.
3. Apply for All India Quota (AIQ) counseling or state counseling, whichever is applicable.
4. Participate in the counseling process, which includes document verification and seat allotment.
5. If allotted a seat at AAMC, report to the college for admission formalities and fee payment.

Degree-wise Admission Process

MBBS_: AAMC has a total of 150 seats for this course. Admissions under NEET-UG are purely on the basis of merit, with the allotment of candidates through state counseling processing, wherein seats are allocated depending on rank-wise different selections made by candidates.

MD General Medicine: This course has provisions for just two seats. Admission is through the NEET-PG followed by a counseling process. Students must have completed MBBS and mandatory internship for eligibility.

MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology: This course's admission is entirely based on the NEET-PG entrance examination. There are only two seats available in the admission procedure, which will be subject to counseling and document verification.

MS Orthopaedics: This department has only 2 seats available at AAMC. The criteria for admissions would be from the 1st rank NEET-PG score claimed for admission followed by a counseling process.

MD Paediatrics: This program has 1 available seat with admission through NEET-PG followed by counseling.

MD Respiratory Medicine: This seat also follows admission by NEET-PG with counseling, and document verification for this one available.

The general requirements for documents in the above processes are as follows:

• A valid NEET scorecard
• Mark sheets and certificates from Class 10 to 12
• MBBS degree certificate and mark sheets (for PG programs)
• Certificate of completion of internship (for PG programs)
• Valid identification proof
• Recent passport-size photographs
• A caste certificate (if applicable)
• Any other relevant certificates as specified by the institute or counseling authority.
