Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi was established in the year 1952 by Dr Alagappa Chettiar. The ACCET Karaikudi is an autonomous college recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of Tamil Nadu.

College Infrastructure
The college had the necessary infrastructure like ACCETOSA, Placement Cell, WiFi tree etc., which helped us to built a foundation in our learning experience. The college had a library with wide coverage of books.

Accet's mess food is not really good and they lack nutritional values as i have listened this from alot of students and they also say the taste is okay but the quality of products the use is decent and you'll not hate the good totally.
