66 MonthsBachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) is a 5.5-year academic program containing 4 and 1/2-year academic sessions and a one-year internship program degree offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and approved by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).
Eligibility Criteria
- All applicants must have completed two-year science studies at the pre-university level with aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
- For students of Indian origin: Students of Indian nationality should have passed the PUC II (10+2) in Science or equivalent examination with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Priority will be given to those students whose medium of instruction is English and who have a higher percentage in PCB.
- For students of Foreign origin: Foreign students seeking admission for the BHMS Course in this college have to obtain permission from the Indian consulate/ Embassy of their country and get the necessary endorsement duty signed on their passports. They need to produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi. An ‘Eligibility certificate’ from the RGUHS, Bangalore, Karnataka, is also essential.
Additionally, the NEET UG qualification is mandatory.
