The college have necessary infrastructure and utilities. It has classrooms which are well furnished and have smart class. We have access to the unlimited wifi which has a bandwidth of around 1000 mb per second. We have al kind of sports and training centres here.
In college I'm pursuing my btech in chemical engineering. In Kerala only 5 colleges provide this course. It provides us with all the lab faculties needed for our studies. The faculty provide us with necessary practical knowledge needed for the industry.
Previous year about 23 companies came to over college for campus placement. Most of them are from software field. About 45 % of students are directly placed in the IT sector. Companies other than form software field are from Chemical sector, mechanical sector too.
Good infrastructure and facilities....... But not much student friendly.....labs and other facilities are perfect.......... Clean and neat classrooms and courtyard s are highlight ss.. .................
By heart learning is being focused.......I am studying Btech in Chemical engineering....job ready academics is not perfectly implied........highly qualified teachers are highlights......................
Poor.... Placement cells are functioning but not all departments are beneficial..... . Campus placements frm our department is very less......... Seniors are not placed at companies...................
Average.....My course costs nearly 90000 per year excluding hostel fees...But quality provided wont catch up with the money provided....need to ne improved........ Very much.............................
Campus is beautifuland exo friendly.....But its neither student friendly or student focussed. ..... Student s arenot alloweded to sit in lawns ans wander througj the campus... ..........................
Overall Infrastructure was excellent. There was opportunity for lots of extra curricular activites. There was only problem for the mess food actually it is universal and the hostel rooms were decent. Fully Well maintained place with greenery.
Lacking of industrial exposure. Mostly focussing on the theoritical part rather than the industrial part. Teaching was for only exam point of veiw. More exposure outside campus could be mainly focussed
Placement cell was not doing their job correctly and seriously. For chemical engineering no placement was there. Placement for IT based company is mainly focussed and only that type of company came to our campus.
For theoretical purposes only. Not for practicals
Campus life was good. Different kind of experience was recieved.
Yes our college provides all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Our classrooms are provided with smart boards and each department is facilitated with dep. Libraries in addition to the main central library. Also well maintained labs are provided with wifi facilities. The most highlight of our college is about the infrastructure aswell as the eco friendly environment. We have also a well maintained and a hygiene environment in the canteen with open kitchen facility.
I am an electronics and communication engineering student .To be honest ,I was not much aware about any of the branches and I gradually develop an interest in it. Our department is provided with well qualified faculties and in addition to lessons they taught ,also take care in all our activity with full support. But at some point I felt little bit of over concerned upon us.yes our curriculum is updated. In my opinion learning a new programming language will help to get a job in software fields.
Our college provides a great opportunity to get placed in well reputed companies. They are not focusing on the number of placements they have done but looking for the quality.Becuase of this reason our college won't promote call centre jobs.We assure 100%assurance but in reality I'm not much aware.
My course cost 70k per year. At some extend I felt that I'm getting my money's worth because of the reasons I mentioned before.
As a normal student I have experienced both the best aswell as worst experience in my college. Our college gives more importance to punctuality this has really help each student to create a self discipline within themselves.our college offers a very good platform for each student to showcase their talents. Our college is located in a remote area although they provide all the required facilities.

Amal Jyothi have got most beautiful campus in kerala. Its so clean that we couldnot find a bit a paper anywhere around the hill. And thats why its nicknamed as "Malamukalile Sundhari" means Beauty on a hilltop. It has recieved award for best green campus by pollution control board in 2012.The infrastructure is surrounded by a well preserved garden all around which makes the campus with lot of frames for cool photography. Usually we walk to our class over a road of flowers like a red carpet.
Almost all departments have got teachers with PhD which makes the quality to next level. Currently 2 courses are NBA accredited. All other departments are soon to be accredited it was hold on due to corona pandemic.
Numerous IT sector firms have absorbed about 70% of students in circuital branches.Non IT firms pretty rarely comes for placement drives. But still their are opportunities for Non Circuital branches to have industrial experience.
If you are looking for a beautifull campus with well infrastructures departments Amal Jyothi will be a great choice. 5 insustrial tie-ups are currently available in the campus. Amal Jyothi is Technical Buisness Incubater funded by Kerala Startup Mission which names the campus as Startup Valley. We have got an active IEDC cell too. so if you are dreaming to be an entrepreur Amal Jyothi have got the most fertile soil in Kerala.
Management promotes all sorts of technical activities rather than academics. Numerous Technical clubs are their which gives students a greater exposure. Recently it have been awarded as the second best campus by National Institution of Quality and Reliabilty. IEEE IEI IQAC ICI ASME have got their active role in the campus.
If you dream of a green campus you are heatly welcome to this hilltop.
As of my experience of college in infrastructure, facilities and equipment for a B.Tech student my college is awesome. It's got WiFi mostly around campus, if u have a laptop then it's heaven. High standard canteens for sure and tasty food. There are no smartboards in classes but we do have projectors in all classes and white walls if that is enough. There are meeting halls air conditioned. Libraries- excellent. Hostels- life changing and a lesson, Sport centers- only basketball good.
I am a 3rd year student and I study it cause it's mandatory to get an Engineering degree out of it so I and everyone whom I love can have a better life. Quality of teaching is an average, they give 15%, u have to urself fill in the rest. I donot think curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field, u should definitely do that one urself. I do believe whatever I am learning is making me job- ready because surviving engineering is a tough nut to crack.
Talking about placement, there are no placement in our college for chemical engineering branch yet but there is for other branches in the college, but chemical engineering students can participate in placement from tech companies and can get selected for their training but it will not be a job relating to anything you studied for 4 years
I spent 1 lakh amount for everything per year including tuition fee, hostel fee and other personal expences. Yes I do feel I am getting my money's worth experience out of the college bcz life is everything at the college it's a mixture of emotions and experiences. At certain point you figure out how lucky you are to experience it all and money is not everything, people and family are.
The college is safe and the location too unless you are a rebel and you have a knack for self harm. My college campus mostly revolves around being a loner to finding friends because in college it's tough to find true people who loves you for who you are. My friend circle is very small as a result. Students can engage in quiz activities, invention and everything as such if they have interest in it. No ones gonna tell you to try this and that, you have to decide for yourself and do it.
Competition is higher it's okay if you don't excel in the college, be happy and allow yourself to get lost unless and until you can find your way back to urself.
The college has outstanding infrastructure among the colleges in Kerala. Our college meets world class standard for the facilities it provide and the canteen is famous for its hygiene and food quality. The college has many facilities like library, computer labs, other department labs which provide the students with required facilities.
I'm a final year chemical engineering graduate student in the college. The college has a very good bunch of students who are ready to help the students, although some are of poor standards. The college is affiliated to APJ Abhul Kalam Technological univerisity.I think updations in curriculum are required for the college development.
Our college provide good level of placements for students with attractive salary packages. The college has a placement cell which gives the students with trainings to be prepared for interviews and aptitude tests. But the placements for non-circuit branches are comparatively less.
Eventhough the college has a little bit high fee structure,we will not have to be sad about that as the facilities the college provide are of world class standards. The college provide large lab facilities and classroom facilities. The cost for my course is nearly Rs 1,50,000 ,which is worthful.
Although the college management is focused more on academics, it conducts cultural and sports events for the students. The college is having a little bit strict curriculum,it provides students little bit opportunities for the enlightenment of the students.
The college helped me to become an extrovert person and the teachers have supported me greatly. The college provide with me a very good bunch of classmates.
The college provides all the necessary facilities and infrastructure and equipments. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and blackboards. The laboratories have quality instruments for carrying out the experiments. The library has very good collection of books and subscription to best journals and magazines. The hostels are well maintained and monitored with regard to hygiene and cleanliness. food is exceptionally well and hygiene. The college and hostel has 24*7 WiFi service available.
I am studying for B. Tech. Chemical engineering as it is oke of the best branches of engineering regarding its quality and influence on the day to day life of humans. The quality of teaching is exceptionally good. The faculties are from good academic background and has great knowledge about the subjects. The curriculum is not very much updated towards the recent developments in industries. The curriculum covers all the major developments which enable the students to be job-ready after the course
The quality of placements in the college is top class. The college has good placement cell who always works to make the students avail the best of quality. A total percentage of 40% approx. from a batch gets placed. The placements are more likely for students with software backgrounds. The highest salary package offered was about 12lakhs per annum. The average salary package is around 4-5lakh per annum. The college is very supportive regarding placements and it was a pleasent experience for me.
The course costs around 1 lakh per year as tution fee. This fee is for students in management seats. There will be considerable reduction in fees for students with scholarships or good entrance ranks. The merit seat has a tution fee in the range of 30-40k. The hostel rent is to be paid monthly apart from the education fee. I feel that I am getting the worth of the money which I pay. The infrastructure and facilities, education and other amenities provided by the college is very good and well.
The college campus is the best with its climatic conditions and infrastructure facilities. All the departments are well arranged and facilitated in the campus. The worst feature is the distance between two departments. The campus is very much safe and can handle all sort of emergencies with the availability of a hospital in the 10km range. The students, faculties and support staff are very friendly and kind. They are very much supportive. The students can engage in sports activities and NSS.
I had a very wonderful and exciting experience studying at this college. I was able to mingle with people from different parts of the society and helped me in becoming a more socially responsible being.
Our college is having the best infrastructure among the colleges in Kerala. Its is accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade.IThe college provides all sufficient facilities required for a college. The college canteen is famous for hygiene and food standards.
I'm a final year B.Tech stuent in Chemical engineering. The quality of teaching can be rated as above average. The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological university,Kerala. The has a large bunch of Faculties who are very supportive towards the students both personally and incase of academics.
All circuit departments have good placement opportunites, compared to the non-circuit departments. The salary packages available are attractive and affordable.College provide placement trainings for students to excel in aptitude tests and interviews.
The fee structure is little bit high, but we will not have a feel of money being wasted as the college provide such facilities and opportunities for the money it charges. The college provides financial assistance to students require support for studies.
The college provided me the best time of my life. The college campus is aesthetically pleasing and provide great atmosphere to be an eco-friendly college.Although the management is focused more on academics,it also conducts cultural and sports events too.
The college helped me to find the engineer inside me and given opportunity to develop my engineering skills. My college also provided me with a great bunch of friends, who are now part of my life.
Infrastructure at it's best. Grene vibes and happy skies. Hill top atmosphere. Generally a temperate climate. Be ready to walk a long ups and downs, coz natural landscape is maintained. Will fall in love with the campus and will miss some life in campus.
Very good. Very strict and orderly way of studies. Very efficient faculty and staff. Don't worry of the academic part. Under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala. Both merit and management seats available
Mainly for CS ,IT, EEE and EC. CH, ME, MT etc do not have placements. .,......................... ........ .... ... ........ ..... ..... ..... .... .... ... .... .... ......................................
Yes. Sometimes we has to ask for the activities.
It depends on the individual. The clg has strict rules and regulations. Breaking the rules and enjoying the clg life gives better fun than being in a free and liberal campus. Break the rules and enjoy every bit. You'll have a great campus life.
Good clg. But a little more importance to studies and that discipline than clg life.
