We have a moderate to advance infrastructure with Wi-Fi facility and well-equipped classrooms, lab and library which is air-conditioned and has good ambience. Our campus has many nice canteens with affordable and good quality food. Overall, it is a very happening campus.
Our faculty members are highly experienced and knowledgeable with friendly behaviour, and they possess a great position in our hearts and minds. The teaching quality is excellent, and the teaching methodologies are powerpoint presentations and chalk and board method along with some great and helpful case studies. We get great industry exposure via alumni meet, interactive sessions, and seminars.
We have a student placement cell entire directed by the students for the students along with the full support of the placement advisory of our department and we aim for inviting the best organisations for campus recruitment and internships rigorously. The average salary package expected .

Campus life is average
Nothing else
About the infrastructure I'd say it is good, as new buildings are in making for post graduation courses and if I talk about my department it is actually very good as it has its own reading room/library, museum, fully functional laboratory. And our college has newly established biotechnology hub for detaild study of organisms, etc. But the college campus is not that huge as it is in the heart of the city. Our college has 2 canteens one near the main gate and other is near the Zoology department, both boy's and girl's common rooms are hygienic also the toilets. In every classroom there is projectors for digital learning.
Well, I'm studying BSc Zoology (Core) 4 Year degree course under NEP as it gives us the exposure to other subjects beyond science such as under NEP we're now studying Sanskrit, courses for skill development, humanities subjects, etc. The quality of the teaching is literally good as our teachers teach in a very interactive manner. Yes, the curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments. About the job, I'd say one have to hustle for it, as a BSc degree will just not give you a direct job until you give any competitive exam.
Our college has no direct placement after a bachelor's degree. One might get placement only after completing MSc or PhD. I don't know about the percentage of students placed or the highest salary offered. I don't have idea about salaries offered. I cannot say about any placement process as I'm studying in the college.
The course I'm studying right now costs around ₹5000/year only. Yes I do feel that my money is worth studying in this college.
My campus is absolutely interesting, studying zoology as a core subject itself is so exciting, the best part is doing practicals getting to know so much about different types of species and worst part is that the college is open only till 4pm. As I've said already the students, teachers, and my department's staff is really supportive. Location of the college is extremely safe and it can handle emergencies too.
The best part of our college is that it is autonomous.
The worst part of the college is the infrastructure. They have a very big plot but still their buildings are not property arranged. its more look like a hospital than a college. And the most worst part is the washroom, no proper water supplies everything is break inside the washroom.
The exams are held by Guwahati University. But maybe our college is soon going to be an autonomous college. All the teachers here are excellent at their work. They are helpful and provide adequate knowledge for us. They also prepare us for examinations other than the semester exams. We are often taught to prepare for entrance examinations along with our semester exams. All the students in our batch got good percentage, with an average of 76%.
Around 20% of students were placed in my course from our college. An average of 5 lacs package offered in my course. It is satisfactory if you are a scholar or something but for an average student, it will be hard to get placement. There are about 80% of students got internships from companies .

Campus life is good
Overall is good
The college has a mediocre kind of infrastructure it has all the basic necessity is libraries and playgrounds and computer labs. There is nothing much to it yes the science faculties have labs in them. There are also cultural program halls present where cultural programmes take place and there are also few indoor games organised in the college.
Yes my department teachers are highly qualified and they are all very experienced. I love their teaching style and how they made everything easy during the exams as well as during the lectures. Accounts teacher is the best and also the English faculty is good in our college.
There's nothing has such as placement in our colleges except for few companies that offer internship or startup job with a base salary of 15k to 20k per month. As I am an account student it's easy for me to find a job after my degree rather than a BA student from my college.
The fees for first year in my college was around 15000, which is quite high compared to other respective fails but given the quality of teaching and the materials provided I feel it's value for money
The college maintains a good campus life first of all the allumini is very supportive and different kinds of students come across and get together. The College organizes cultural fest and social gatherings where different types of colleges also takes part and it's very fun and enjoying.
The college has got infrastructure it offers free Wi-Fi and library. Also has a canteen which offers good food at a reasonable price. It also has two big playgrounds and it is situated near the main road Azad road.
I am studying b.com honours in account because I have studied accounts since class 9 and I want to build a career in this field only. The professors are highly qualified and experience yes experience makes us job ready but not a lot.
As it is a government college there is no search internship jobs offered so mostly students focus on their grades. After graduating the students find job by themselves and some are doing great in their respective field.
The fees for b.com honours is comparatively high then other subjects. My first year fees was around 13000 and all together the fees was of 69000. I feel like the fees could have been lower otherwise it was great value for money.
The college conducts many kind of cultural programs related to Assam and Kolkata. Also a lot of sports competition in other curricular activities held in the college they also organise a fest where they call Big celebrities to perform.
Yes, the college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. The classrooms are spacious, laboratories are clean and hygienic, libraries are well maintained, sports centres are wellmaintained. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic
I pursued botany as my field of study to gather a deep knowledge on plant life and the deep roots of ayurveda and the college has helped me in doing so. Yes, the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field according to the UGC guidlines and as per I am concerned it has made me ready for acquiring a placement in plant science based firms
In recent years, the quality of placements have degraded in the college as the education provided is not up to the mark where a recruiting company has a interest in it. But it is to be noted that students have put effort and achieved placements in reputable areas like ONGC and FIC
As it is a Government funded college, my course was completely free. I feel great as I acquired the seat in my course by meeting to the requirements of the cutoff set by the college authorities and it has helped me in my financial condition
The college is has a very mechanical campus and has very less natural element to at. Moreover the college harbors a very strong political scenario which is really harmful for a students academic life. But, it should be noted that it can handle emergencies as it has a good first aid protocol and services
The college environment maybe rough at times but the students of the various departments are like family to each other and in my opinion it helps in the developing the student on a humanitarian ground.
Arya Vidyapeeth College has all the necessary infrastructure. We have a Science lab, computer lab, library, and everything which a college needs to have. We have a great faculty member and even student union members are also very friendly. The college hostel is also very close to the college campus, it might be within 100 meters of distance.
I am pursuing B.com(Honors) in Accountancy from AV College and even I have done my HS from this college itself. My experience with this college is very good since the teacher is very supportive, I never saw such a friendly and kind faculty anywhere. That's way after Higher Secondary Arya Vidyapeeth College was my 1st priority for B.com.
Placements at AV college are not very good, but the teachers help the freshers in getting off-campus placements, teachers are very supportive in this case. But thinking of getting a good placement from the college itself is not a good idea at all.
As Arya Vidyapeeth College is a government college the fees are very less for all the courses. Hardly you will have to pay 8,000-12,000 annually not more than that, which is really very affordable for anyone. It is one of the best colleges in Assam.
My College life at Arya Vidyapeeth College is much better than school life as the first time in my life I got chance of bunking classes but be aware of teachers they start calling students for class.
Hey Whats uppp !!!
