The infrastructure in my college is pretty much good. We have almost all the necessities for a easy and effective learning. The classrooms and laboratories are well maintained and are hygienic. The library is also well maintained and all the required books are available.
I am currently pursuing BSc Biotechnology in AIMT. The teaching methods are good enough for easy understanding and the teachers are very friendly. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in this field.
There are few of my seniors who got their placements but I'm not much aware of it. They had got their placements at some food industry and other forums. But recently no such placements have happened in our college.
The institute has a decent premises with almost all the facilities (including an elevator). Each corner was secured with CCTV cameras that we were at least told that they worked and recorded day in and out. Decent laboratories with decent equipment, libraries had required amount of readable and reference books, a below average auditorium (capacity wise) but there was one thing that was missing there was a college canteen.
Enthusiastic and experienced team of teachers in the institute. Lab technicians were almost like friends in need, ready to help out with every small and big tech issues. Proper professional training for all the grooming requirements. (Even the punishments included intensive learning, those were helpful too.)
There were in-campus placements from some reputed organizations. Helped a lot of the students then. Hopefully it helps more now. (As this is all over the prospectus of the institute, i think they should think in bringing more options for the students so that they get motivated from the very beginning and could set their own goal with reference to the past placements.
The fee structure may be a little high for some people but the experience and exposure they get is worth the money (or at least could use the academics in their future persuasion). Some scholarships based on certain guidelines should be introduced. This will definitely boost the deserving students to give this institute a chance.
The campus was like the next home for us. the batch mates, the seniors and the juniors were like the family and friends.
I found a lot from this place in a cost of just 3 years.
AIMT is located at a prominent locality in the heart of the city and has above average infrastructure and facilities. The college provides excellent laboratories for its students, be it the Computer lab, the Electronics lab or the Biotechnology lab. The campus has wi fi connectivity and the class rooms are very well maintained and equipped with audio visual aids and projectors. There is a huge library for books relating to all departments and also periodicals, journals, magazines and newspapers.
The teachers and faculties are highly experienced in their fields and teach the students with utmost care. In addition, regular seminars and workshops are held with Industry Experts as invitees and guest lecturers. These help in honing the capabilities of the students and ready them to take on the world of tomorrow with all the confidence in the world.
The placement scene has improved drastically over the years and now more and more students get placed in various companies and startups every year. The management and teachers do all they can to provide good placements to the students.
The fee structure is reasonable to say the least. Being one of the premiere institutes in the region, the fees at AIMT is way lower than what most other institutes charge. Hence the college offers very good value for money.
I spent 3 of my most memorable years at AIMT and the environment, facilities and campus life it provided is what made learning so much fun for me and my friends. Those 3 years were a bliss.
