Application Process
Application Processing for Avanthi's St Theressa Institute of Engineering and Technology differs according to the course:
1. On the basis of the selected program, candidates need to register themselves and again appear for the concerned entrance exam AP EAMCET, AP PGECET, APICET, or AP POLYCET.
2. Once the entrance examination results are announced, qualified candidates must participate in the respective counseling process conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
3. Candidates submit their preferences during this time for colleges and courses.
4. If allotted, students are required to report to Avanthi's St. Theressa Institute for verification of documents and completing other admission formalities.
5. Complete the admission fees payment and enroll in the institute.
Degree wise Admission Process
B-Tech: Admission into the B.Tech programs is strictly dependent on the score obtained in AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test). The B.Tech programs provided include Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The designated seat intake approved for B.Tech programs is 480 in total.
M.Tech: Admission for M.Tech shall be taken based on the qualification obtained in AP PGECET (Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test). The institute offers M.Tech programs in VLSI System Design, Computer Science and Engineering, and Power Electronics and Electrical Drives, each with an approved intake of 18 students.
MBA: The students seeking admission to the MBA program at Avanthi's St Theressa Institute are admitted based on performance in the APICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test). The approved intake for the MBA program is 120 seats.
MCA: The same principle goes for the MCA, as admission for this course will also be based on the performance in APICET. The said institute has an approved intake of 120 seats for this program.
Diploma: The admissions entries for different Diploma courses under Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering are based on AP POLYCET (Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test). Each of the diploma programs has a total seat intake of 60.

The quality of the teaching of the lectures good and the and lectures provide full syllabus before the exams and the syllabus is taken from the jntu University and the curriculum of the college is not updated and it is the mojor disadvantage of the curriculum
