Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by State Board of Technical Education, Ranchi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates passing Matriculation/I.C.S.E./C.B.S.E. Or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and with a minimum 50% of marks are eligible for seeking admission to the polytechnic.

Admission In Lateral Entry

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO 2-YEAR DIPLOMA COURSE UNDER VOCATIONAL TO DIPLOMA PROGRAM:

Candidate should have passed Intermediate Vocational Examination with any one of the subjects: Computer Science, Electronics Technology, Radio Tv Technician, Automobile Engg& Technician, Mining Geology.

Candidate should have passed the Matriculation Examination along with 2-Year ITI Prog.

Candidate should have passed 10+2 (Science)/I. Sc. with Mathematics.

Admission Details

Admission is taken on the basis of entrance examination taken by JCECEB Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.

College Infrastructure

The physical infrastructure comprises of spacious classrooms with seating arrangement and equipment that supports learning and understanding concepts. A vast library acts as a knowledge powerhouse for the students. Hostels are average and foods provided are not so hygenic.
