BITS Goa Placements

BITS Goa has a separate placement department to oversee all placements on campus. BITS Goa placement cell conducts a wide range of training programmes including workshops, industrial talks along with several others to equip students with necessary skills and knowledge. The training programmes at BITS Goa include problem-solving abilities, communication skill development, multitasking, and other skills as well.

BITS Goa placement department is also in charge of training students and providing internship opportunities. The department also has numerous corporate collaborations. BITS Goa placement cell invites companies every year, and recruiters conduct pre-placement discussions. BITS Goa Placement Procedure

BITS Goa placement process for a semester starts about two months ahead of the semester.
Companies provide necessary data through job announcement forms.
The same is studied and a formal invitation is sent out by BITS Goa placement cell by email.
A mutually convenient date and time for Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) followed by a selection process is fixed.
Visit is announced to the students along with data as given in the job announcement form.
Interested and eligible students apply online.
Company confirms travel plan a week before the allocated visit date.
The selection list is announced as soon as the company finalises the same.
Students sign the offer letter and a copy is forwarded to the company.

does bits pilani offers five year llb course.

Yes, the BITS Law School, Mumbai offers five-year, full-time integrated BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programmes at the undergraduate level to students. Candidates seeking admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programmes offered at the BITS Law School Mumbai must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with a cumulative score of at least 45% from a recognised board and must appear for the BITS Law Admissions Test/ CLAT/ SLAT/ LNAT/ AILET/ MHCET Law entrance test for admission to these programmes.

My son looks to have admission choices as below. Pl suggest 1) CS at IIIT Hyderabad 5 yr integrated course 2) AI at NIT Surathkal 3) CS at BITS Goa

Dear parents,

All three colleges are best. Now it all depend on the interest of your son.

CS in IIT Hyderabad is good. They have good faculty and placement scenario.

If your son choose this course then he have to do Btech with Mtech in 5 years which is good.

Now moving toward NIT. AI in NIT is good but not so popular in today's placement scenario. If he want to pursue higher degree on AI then he can choose. And also after IIT , NIT tag is valuable but in placement situation, it not so good.

And at last CS in BITS Goa. I will say don't take BITS Goa. If your son get BITS Pilani then it will consider best.

So, as per my suggestion, for getting good placement - IIIT Hyderabad and for pursue higher studies - NIT Surathkal

Any choice that you make between these great colleges will be purely a trade-off between a branch and a good location and college. If we consider the order on the basis of the quality of the college, then the preference order will be:

This order will be the most accepted as even though you won't get CS in BITS, however the exposure they provide in various fields like Finance, Economics is unparalleled.
