BLDEA'S Smt Bangaramma Sajjan Arts and Commerce College for Women, Vijayapur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. here is an accommodation for 106 students in the College Hostel. It has a common room with an attached bathroom and arrangements for indoor and outdoor games. The mess facility is managed on a contract basis.

The college has well established and excellent Gymnasium with equipment worth Rs.3 Lakhs aided by the Central Ministry of Sports.

The college has a well established, well equipped & fully computerized library and kept open from 8-00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. The students should produce their Identity Cards for borrowing books. Three books are generally issued to the students on borrowers’ tickets. For meritorious students, there is a provision to provide extra books. Also, extra books are provided to SC/ST & Physically Challenged students. The News Papers, periodicals, and journals of various languages are readily available for students.

The college Physical Director looks after the sports activities of the college with great zeal. The department has all the sports equipment for the various indoor and outdoor sports activities viz., Sports Cycles, Cricket Kits, etc. The College has Basket Ball/Volley Ball Court with Flood Light facility. The department conducts Cricket, Cycling, Basket-Ball, Net-Ball, Weight-Lifting, Power-Lifting, Volley-Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Athletic. And the number of students have got the National and International Level Prizes. With the highest number (68) University Blues of KSWU, VIjayapura.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college canteen accommodates approximately 50 seating arrangements for both staff members and students. It aims to provide a variety of quality food & beverages at subsidized rates.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college is having an Alumni Association (Registered) of 700 members serving in different departments who are the products of our institution.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has Health Centre and the college conducts Health Check-up for students regularly with the help of expert Doctors of B.L.D.E.U Shri. B. M Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Vijayapura.
