Carmel College of Engineering and Technology, Alappuzha, is recognized by AICTE and provides quality technical education in Kerala. The college has a complete admission process for selecting the deserving candidates for engineering courses. The major mode of admission is through the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination(KEAM), a state-level entrance test.
The admission process of Carmel College of Engineering and Technology normally runs parallel to that of KEAM. Candidates who seek admission into the B.Tech programs offered by Carmel College should complete 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Application Process

6. Seat Allotment: Seats will then be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their KEAM rank and choices filled.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering: Carmel College offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering for an approved intake of 120 seats on the basis of the KEAM rank of the candidate. The program is aimed at imparting cutting-edge knowledge to the students in the principles of computer science and engineering.
B.Tech Civil Engineering: The college offers a B.Tech in Civil Engineering for an intake of 60 students. The candidates to be admitted to this program must qualify in KEAM and get a very good rank. The course centers on a number of subjects in civil engineering, creating opportunities for students in construction and infrastructure development.
B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: The B.Tech program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, having an intake of 60 students, grants admissions on the basis of performance in KEAM. This course equips students with important knowledge related to Electrical systems, Electronics and other involved technologies.
B.Tech Mechanical Engineering: Carmel College admits 60 students to B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Admission to this program is also done through the KEAM rank list. This course provides an understanding of various aspects of mechanical engineering, preparing students for diverse roles in the industry.
Our college gives first priority to its academics. They compulsorily makes the students to attend lectures. Getting a leave unnecessarily is not possible in our college. Quality of teaching and teachers are so good
I am a student of B.tech Mechanical engineering third year. The academic facilities the college provide are of world class. I am getting a very good set of teaching faculty under the leadership of our Rev. Principle Father and the Department HOD who gave primary importance to the overall development of their student as a good graduates as well as a human being. The practical sessions are given more importance since for the betterment and enrichment of ours to develop a keen interest.
