Chadalawada Venkata Subbaiah College of Engineering (CVSCE) Tirupati is a constituent institution recognized by AICTE and dedicated to a number of engineering programs on the undergraduate and diploma level. CVSCE gets worthy candidates through the entrance examinations set for different programs.
The admission cycle for CVSCE aligns with the academic calendar of Andhra Pradesh, wherein the applications and entrance exams are done in the months preceding the actual start of the academic year. Admission to B.Tech programs is mainly given based on the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET), while the diploma programs are based on the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET). The admission of postgraduate students is based on the AP PGECET score.
Eligibility criteria vary with the programs concerned. For B.Tech courses, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the higher secondary level. The diploma programs require that candidates have completed their 10th standard or equivalent. Admissions are asked to maintain specific cut-off scores in the respective entrance examinations, which makes sure that the selection is fair and on a competitive basis.
Application Process
Chadalawada Venkata Subbaiah College of Engineering has varying application procedures for the different programs:
For B.Tech:
1. Take the exam for AP EAMCET.
2. Register for the counselling of AP EAMCET.
3. In counselling, choose CVSCE and its preferred B.Tech course.
4. Upon the seat being offered, report to CVSCE for document verification and further admission processing.
Diploma:
1. Write the AP POLYCET examination.
2. Appear for counselling of AP POLYCET.
3. At the time of seat allotment, select CVSCE and the preferred diploma course.
4. Complete the admission procedure at CVSCE if the seat is allotted.
M.Tech:
1. Write AP PGECET and pass.
2. Register for counselling of AP PGECET.
3. While filling the choices, choose CVSCE M.Tech in Digital Electronics and Communication System.
4. Proceed with CVSCE admission if allotted.
Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Tech: CVSCE has 60 seats for admission into B.Tech courses in Civil Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. Admission is on merit based on the AP EAMCET score. Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should register for the AP EAMCET.
Diploma: CVSCE provides Diploma courses in Civil Engineering and Electronics Engineering. The intake for each is 60. Admission is on merit based on the AP POLYCET. Candidates must have completed 10th grade or an equivalent.
M.Tech: CVSCE grants admission to 18 students in the M.Tech program in Digital Electronics, and Communication Systems, awarded based on the AP PGECET rank. Candidates must obtain a B.Tech or equivalent degree.
