Chaiduar College and is an esteemed co-educational educational institution from Gohpur, Assam. 6. Preparation of Merit List: The College prepares a merit list based on the marks garnered in the qualifying selection test, plus any other such criterion or criteria particular to the program.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: The course BA offers several majors at Chaiduar College, the program with the most number of admissions, 400 seats. Admission is based on merit—a comparison of marks earned in the qualifying examination (10+2). Major subjects available under the BA program are Assamese, Education, Political Science, History, Economics, English, Bodo, and Mathematics.

B.Sc.: The major subjects on offer in the program Bachelor of Science run to 100 enrollment seats. Admission is now based on merit with regards to the subjects' scores in the 10+2 examination. The major subjects available are Chemistry, Economics, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, and Physics.

B.Com.: Chaiduar College provides the program of B.Com, featuring various specializations, Accountancy Major, Management Major, Marketing Management Major, Human Resource Management Major. An intake of 70 seats is available for each specialization. Admission should be based on merit from the student, based on the marks that he or she has secured in the qualifying examination and commerce-related subjects.

B.Voc.: The college consists of two B.Voc courses: Mass Media B.Voc and Medical Laboratory Technician B.Voc, each carrying 50 seat intakes. In these Vocational Courses, the admissions are based on merit, sometimes based on skill and/or aptitude.
