It is a basic college with less students and just couple of courses, due to less count overall college life is not what you would expect, but according to the course requirements, infrastructure is good enough.
Teachers are not the best, they are decent basically nothing different from other Delhi University College faculties, therefore academics depends mostly on students themselves. You have to depend on YouTube and stuff, workload is mid, not very stressful not very casual.
It doesn't have a placement cell, therefore no on campus placements, students do get placed off campus all depending on what skills they have in offer for the recruiters, college doesn't has anything much to do with it.
Negligible fees
Basically one building college, no college life for students but if you consider the overall university as your campus ,then you can surely enjoy the perks of your college being in the North campus.
The infrastructure is good though the clg doesn't have a seperate building University of delhi provided the indore stadium building it ofcourse has all the facilities like good computer labs and classrooms ith decent wifi but we don't have hostel facility but for girls there is .
The best thing about CIC is the curriculum they follow it's so nice and the lecturers are well profiled and the way of approaching to every student is good. The seniors teach us too here as we work with them the whole year.
Though the CIC doesn't help you to get placements on campus as it's an innovation centre but the alumni has the students who got a job of good packages.the package as I heard was nearly 12-14 lakhs per annum
The semester fee is 5k and it's totally worth it as it's a central government institution the fee is way too less
Since I'm a covid batch student I couldn't get a chance to enjoy the clg life but the seniors are very friendly and they help you in every situation actually we learn more from them than the lecturers
One of the underrated colleges in india
Beautiful infrastructure with all the facilities. Yes there is a rugby ground , library, laboratories and many more . There is a engineering kitchen in the campus . Modern technology equipment for practicals.
I'm currently pursuing my btech in IT and MI. The quality of teaching online is that great . There is a lot to know about cic please go through the brochure you will know more about clg. Go through the brochure or website to know more.
There is no placement cell in this college , as the primary focus of this college is to bring Innovations, start-ups and great minds. But with the knowledge and the brand value of the college you can crack a job easily.
5000 per semester is the fee . It is the best thing about cic.
You get to meet many students from different parts of the country and great diversity . You get lot of support from faculty and seniors aswell.
CIC is a great college , if your primary focus is Innovation and entrepreneurship this is the best place?
College has a centralised AC which doesn't work, there's no staff for washroom cleaning, faulty electrical lines. Hopes these issues get sorted soon. (Writing this in July 2020). Once resolved, the infrastructure is first rate, modern and post colonialist.
The curriculum in CIC for every course is research centric, so there's one paper dedicated to semester long research for four semester over the span of six semesters of BA. With one of the best mentors and the intensive research we get to do, we're enabled with the ability to become one of the finest undergraduate researchers which will help those looking forward to a career in research. But I wouldn't recommend CIC if you're looking for a regular college and thinking to change stream after UG.
There is no placement cell. However you can opt for off campus placement. If you're looking for placements, studying more than six papers of a discipline over your entire course, don't like dissertation/research/practicals every semester, want to change stream after undergraduate, this is not the place for you.
Amazing! Every course is available for 5k per sem, cheapest college in DU.
Since CIC is a CENTRE for innovation offering research centric courses, we lack extra-curricular activities. We have a music society and a quiz society but they aren't recognized. So, consider it a research centre rather than a college. But we somehow try to arrange fresher's and farewell.
No sports for students, No vantilastion , Classes and corridor are clean, wifi facility is there in every class with high speed, good view from the canteen, computer lab is good, other required labs are available too.
You are own your own if you are not connected with your seniors. After coming to college you do not ask for queries again and again like you do in school life, here make friends ask for help and do by yourself
In CIC, there is no placement cell till now, students have to find jobs by their own, actuallyafter completing the studies from cic students don't need any reference as in course here we have to do internship so this makes resume very attractive and can get jobs easily (if available)
Totally value for money
Not bad not good
Hello student,
In CIC, there is no placement cell till now. The students who wants to find a job has to sit off campus. But the internship is a part of the course provided in the college. So many students are selected or given a job where they are doing their internship.
