College infrastructure is well good. They are all well equipped but in case of food it is sometimes not up to the grade but they try to give good. Laboratories are well equipped, the sports centre is amazing, hostel rooms are also nice.Overall infrastructure is quietly acceptable.
The course and dealing with is about milk and milk products. We have to study about the chemical, physical, microbiological, technological aspect of milk and its uses. When coming to the academics sometimes our semester may got lag but exams are good and the professors are with high qualification. Job opportunity are there but we have to observe and work for to get it.
Placements are really average as there are not so many placement interviews were held in my college. Rarely one or two will get placements. Placements is the place where the college have to take care of.
Its worth for me. Considering the tuition fee, hostel fee its quietly low. And we are getting much opportunities and i am getting the things for what i have paid. I think more than that.
My college life is awesome. I can't explain it in 500 letters. In shortly, within 3 years i lived my life to the fullest. I will never get these 3 years from anywhere else. Since the number of students are less and we are getting only few funds for conducting programs we can't afford person from outside to set the functions so all things are done by us. From first to last. And it teach me to live, to do all the things that i thought of i couldn't. Campus area and atmosphere are charming.
I experienced my things. Besides of all the experiences i just lived my life. Only there are four batches and each batch contain 40 students, very small in number and we know each other. Everybody in the college know each other. We lived like a family even though there were misunderstandings. The period of my life which i never want to end.
My college is one of the best when comes to the infrastructure and facilities provided are well managed and properly used. we have sufficient classrooms lab facilities and hostel . All the permises are hygienic too.
I'm persuing my 4th sem in dairy science and technology. The teaching quality is excellent. The faculties are very much helpful in our studies and highly informative also available for us in any of the time when required.
Almost 90%of our students are well placed. There is a much higher quality of placement when it comes to other colleges too. College is absolutely incredible in supporting students to bulid their confidence level and persuing them to capture their destination.
It provides and outstanding atmosphere. Fresh and pure in all the means . Inside the campus is undoubtedly safe for the students .
Yes.my college has a better infrastructure and all the facilities.Living places are good and hygienic. All the laboratories were provided with new equipments.Libraries have all the books related with course. All the facilities are maintained very well.Living places are good and hygienic.College have a wide area for incorporating upcoming facilities
It has 3years theory part and one year practical experience.Curriculum was updated.Other than job,It have also entrepreneurship opportunities.Quality of teaching was very good. Exposure and experiential learning make students job ready.
Many students have placed all over India.Salary offered are high . Placement process are easy and pleasant.College was very supportive for achieving better skills. All the students are getting chance to visit international companies.
Scholarship were provided for many students.Others have only 12000 per year.
Campus life was very good.Students get a chance to engage in all the activities of college.Teachers are very supportive.
It was a best choice of yours.
College infrastructure, facilities and equipments are good. Digital classrooms are provided and they are well maintained. Our college is not much crowded. We have a library which has lot of referal books for our course. Laboratories are good.
I'm studying Btech dairy Technology. The quality of teaching is very good with highly qualified teachers. There is a lot of scope in this field inside and outside of our country. I chooses this course because it is very rare.
Our college has a good placement cell amoung students supported by teachers. They try to make maximum placement for our students. The students in our college qualified with high ranks in entrance exam.
As the college is under government there will be low fee could be paid. Our celebration are almost take place during night times and everyone is participate in every programmes because of less students.
A big college campus with a nature friendly environment. Lot of farms are there in our college. I has to see lot more places in our campus. We had a gym in our college with all equipments. Support from the college to arts and sports are very appreciated.
Hostel is very good.
The college is well equipped with the infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Being a professional college with a lot of practical classes, the college has well furnished laboratories as well as a good library. However, the hostel facilities could be bit more improved but it is not extremely bad.
My course is B. Tech Dairy Science and Technology, and I really believe that thus course covers all the areas in which a dairy technologist is expected to have expertise. The course provides a wide scope in 6 different dairy related departments. The curriculum is inclusive of the recent developments in dairy industry. The teaching is satisfactory and the course equips the students to face the job-related consequences in the future.
The percent of placements are a bit dull compared to other courses. I am being frank when I say that the placements are the only thing I am a bit worried for at thus point. The college is supportive in every stages.
The course cost me approximately ₹6000/- per year (as I have a scholarship and am a day scholar). However, the amount is definitely higher for hostelers. Personally, I feel that I am getting my money's worth.
The college has a variety of clubs and activities, namely arts club, literary club, dairy exhibitions, cultural clubs, etc to list a few. The batch strength is very less when compared to other engineering courses which can be a good thing and bad thing at the same time. The location of the college is one of the best things, according to me. It has a very soothing and calm demeanour to it. The students, teacher, support staff are all very friendly and supportive.
Good infrastructure and facilities,Clean campus. Nice hostel facility with wifi connection. They get good food compared to other govt colleges. The classes have facilities. We have different labs, own a dairy plant.
Its a good course a different one. The oppurtunities are better than any other btac courses though we are currently running out of seats for government jobs. The curriculum does inlcude all aspects related to dairy technology.
To my knowledge not too many companies come here to hire us. The best ones in work during the span of their plant training do get hired by the dairy plants. The lucky ones get hored through interviews or entrance exams. Somw of them look for teaching and research
It costs around 7000 per academic year for me but for majority of them its free as they have scholarships.
Unlike other courses, the strength being too small, almost all the students get engaged in the programs taking place in the college.
Its no less than any other colleges with a strong strength. We get to know and cherish our qualities.
The college is equipped with all the modern facilities along with a piece and calm campus. Class rooms and labs are well established and maintained. The library, computer lab facilities are also highly standard
This is a four years degree programme offered by Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Accredited by All India Technical Council. The college also offers limited seats of Masters programmes tooo.
Most of the graduates are working in all around the world in various sectors of Dairy and allied industries. Many are placed in the leading dairy companies in India and abroad. Also many service sectors, research and management areas.
It is an average cost programme which can chosen by every one irrespective of their financial background. Here only merit demands!
This campus is very unique and very special in nature. It is surrounded by a big area campus and the famous Veterinary college, many agricultural related technical institutions, farms, farmers prosperity training centers....etc. Like under a single umbrella mode.
Something very special and unique that offers high standard education.
Good infrastructure, clean with all possible facilities. Smart boards, laboratories and library available but no WiFi. Mobile range issues are there for some connections. Very good food and WiFi connection is available in hostel.
Quality of teaching is good. They are well updated and job oriented course. We get all posible help from our teachers and staff for our studies and all sorts of things related to academics. Various career guiding activities are also held.
Campus placements are there but less no of companies. More companies should come to college with good packages. Companies and Dairy Development Board should choose candidates those who studied food related course.
It costs nearly 12K to 15K per year. And they are providing the facilities worth I spend. Expenses are more for hostler than a day scholar.
Very good and enjoyable campus life. Teachers and staff all support our activities and programs held here. All are supportive.
It was dream come true to study in this college. Enjoy it's campus. Very beautiful campus and I like it
College have good enough infrastructure and well equipped labs. There are special toilets for handicapped too.Students dont have have access to wifi and smart classes need to be improved. Classrooms are quite apart?
As a first year student iam not qualified to rate this.. This course is a different one which needs a close connection with the dairy farmers entrepreneurs but the college dont provide such a space to students.
Placement is very poor . If students are ready to go for work before further learning many companies may come intrested to interview and offer placement.. a dairy technology graduate of course can achieve a great career.
Yes its worth of money. As its a govt course fee is less and students in obc oec sc st categories under the salary conditions have scholarship, they dont have to pay fee . Merit scholarship is there .
If u r looking for a jolly campus life as potrayed in films, this is not the place... As the maximum number of students in a batch is 40 ( total 4 batches and final years will not be in college always), u can assume... But this is a place where u can discover and develop your skills
Over all its a good college that is capable of helping you discover and develop your skills and also help you reach heights and to enter a great career . Its a course which can be choosen by those who like to do social work or have interest in agri sector.
Yes, college of Dairy science and technology situated in mannnuthy, thrissur does have a good infrastructure and almost all necessary equipments required for the course. And the classrooms, laborataries, libraries have necessary facilities. Hostels have wifi and are in good condition. The food is hygienic
Here we study engineering, microbiology and technology of differnt dairy products. The quality of teaching is average. The curriculum and the way of examinations or the marking systems are becoming better making us capable for a job.
The placement here is average. Till now almost everyone has been into a job, but from now it would be a bit tougher to get placed as the number of students passed out in a single batch was a lot higher. However i hope the scope in dairy field expands.
Its around 5000-7000 per semester. If you are having a scholarship it would be free however you have to pay for the hostel food & accomodation. But i think it is worth the money you spent. It is not difficult to find a job compared to other btech courses.
The campus is so wonderful, the nature around is so soothing. It gives a good vibe and a healthy environment to study. The campus have enough grounds and playgrounds to engage in whatever activities you want.
In my opinion, it is good to pursue your btech here. Academics is not too tough compared with other courses and the environment is so relaxing. You will be having two industrial visits during the course and it would be fun.
