The College of Engineering, Adoor (CEA), is one of the best institutions for engineering education with quality focus in the state of Kerala. The whole admission process of the CEA is aimed at recognizing the most talented and deserving candidates in the various B.Tech programs. The accepted admission procedure here is a well-upheld standard procedure extending from the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical (KEAM) examination. The admission cycle of CEA mostly goes hand in hand with KEAM schedule. The KEAM exam for this coming academic year is proposed to be conducted between April 24-28, 2025. An important notification for the prospective students- this date marks a watershed moment in the admission timeline.
The application process of KEAM usually begins a couple of months ahead of the exam date, and students are suggested to frequently visit the official KEAM site for exact information regarding application deadline dates. The KEAM examination is the principal entrance examination consists of three subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Generally, KEAM syllabi are based on the curriculum of the Kerala State Higher Secondary or that of the equivalent syllabus. The aspirants are encouraged to be well prepared in all three subjects with emphasis on problem-solving skills and conceptual understanding.
Application Process
The application process for admission to the College of Engineering, Adoor revolves, mainly, around the KEAM examination and counseling method. The admission process will be explained step by step:
1. KEAM Application: First, candidates must apply for the KEAM examination as mentioned on the official KEAM website. This generally involves filling up of an online application form with required information and payment of the necessary fees.
2. KEAM Examination: Candidates should appear for the KEAM examination on their scheduled date (from April 24 to 28, 2025, in the upcoming academic year). This examination will be held online.
3. KEAM Result: The candidate must wait for the examination results and the KEAM rank list. The CEA will take admission only based on the rank obtained in KEAM.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: The College of Engineering, Adoor, offers seven full-time B.Tech programs, all of four years' duration. Admission to all these B.Tech courses is governed by the KEAM rank list. The institute has a total of 673 seats across all its programs. The specific B.Tech programs offered are as follows:
In the above-mentioned B.Tech programs, the admission procedure is based on the KEAM rank list. To be eligible for admission, candidates need to qualify in the KEAM examination and attain a good rank.
BBA: CEA also provides a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) course with vacancies for 60 admissions. As details about admission for BBA are not listed, it seems very likely that the admission process for this program is different from that for all B.Tech programs and may not be based on KEAM scores.
BMS: The college offers a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) program with 60 seats. As with the BBA, no specific admission details for the BMS have been provided but it is likely that its admission process will stand separate from the engineering ones.
