The College of Engineering and Rural Technology, Meerut (CERT Meerut), is a well-established institution engaged in varied engineering and management programs. In order to choose worthy candidates into varied programs, the admission procedure at CERT Meerut is designed to select deserving candidates for its wide range of courses. This institute works on a merit-based admission process following directions from Uttar Pradesh University.
The admissions into B. Tech. establish that two big exams would be taken as the results of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination and the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). The JEE Main and UPSEE constitute the major admission rationale for engineering courses. The entrance exam scores for the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) are also accepted by the institute for admission into some courses.
The eligibility criteria for admission into B. Tech. programs mainly consist of successful completion of the 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as essential subjects. For MBA and diploma programs, the specific eligibility criteria might differ; hence, applicants are advised to check the detailed eligibility criterion for each program.
Application Process
The application process for CERT Meerut involves several steps:
1. Entrance Exams- Depending on the program applied for, a candidate must present herself/himself for the required entrance examination: JEE Main, UP State Entrance Exam, or UPCET.
2. Application Form- Once the result of the entrance examination is declared, qualifying candidates are required to fill the application form, most probably available on the official website of CERT Meerut or via the state counseling process.
3. Document Submission- The nominees must upload the relevant documents and submit them, which, however, will include:
4. Counseling- Candidates who are shortlisted will then be invited for counseling where they can choose their branch of choice according to rank and availability of seats.
5. Payment of Fee- Once a candidate has been allotted a seat, he/she has to pay the necessary fees to confirm his/her admission.
6. Verification of Document- Once all documents are submitted, the institute will verify each one of them before confirming the admission.

Our college follows the present trends of the curriculum to make the students ready for the corporate world , the faculty of the college was highly capable and kind towards students, but there was no extra events are organised on a regular base .the faculty was helpful .
I was studying electronics and communication engineering. Some teachers were great but overall quality of study was not great. It was just an average quality. Job was not ready because we were not enough skilled or educated.
I am doing MBA and now I am going to pass out in the next year, quality of teaching is outstanding, but overall academic are average, because I want It that rather than working on the theoretical part they should treat student practically too, that is something I am expecting from the college that's why it's not in the outstanding category, collage always work to make you job ready from the starting.
