College of Engineering, Pathanapuram (CEP) is a well-known institution in Kerala, India, providing a variety of engineering courses at the undergraduate and diploma levels, CEP has become popular among engineering students in no time because of its quality education and state-of-the-art facilities. For admission to B.Tech, 70% of the seats are allocated by the CEE under the government's policy of reservation. An additional 25% of the seats allocated through the management quota are also allocated by the CEE on merit grounds. The remaining 5% seats are NRI seats and are allocated by the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE) on rank basis.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: CEP conducts B.Tech courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Each course has a sanctioned intake of 60 students. The student is admitted into these courses on the basis of rank secured in the KEAM exam. The admission process is as follows:
1. Pass the KEAM exam.
2. Attend the counseling process carried out by the CEE.
3. Seat allotment on the basis of rank, preference, and vacancy.
4. Finalize the admission process at CEP on receiving the allotment.
Diploma: Diploma courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, and Robotic Process Automation are also offered by CEP. The approved intake for each diploma course is 60 students.
