Have a question related to College of Horticulture, Bengaluru ?

Hello likhita

. According to last some years cut offs sorry to say but you have very very low chances of getting admission into any government college for agriculture or horticulture too. The cut off ranks for government colleges are generally near to 3000 to 4000 rank approximately for 3A category so that you have very less chances of admissions.

You should go through the last year cut offs for the agriculture colleges of Karnataka which will help you in clearing your all doubts regarding cut offs and admission chances.

Hii Soujanya!
MSc horticulture is a promising field to make career into. Some of the top colleges in India providing MSc horticulture are - PDKV, Akola, BBAU, Lucknow, CAU, Imphal, Tamilnadu agricultural University, Coimbatore, Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Tadepalligudem etc., If entrance is considered, some colleges take entrance exams for providing admissions in their college but mostly you get a direct entry for MSc without any entrance exam. The average course fees ranges from 5000 to 80,000 INR. The course is a 2 year course consisting 4 semesters. For detailed information you can visit the college's official website. Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Hello there!

Greetings!

You haven't mentioned the name of the course for which you want to know the minimum percentage required for admission in University of Horticulture,  Bengaluru as it offers various courses like b.sc , m.sc , phd. So , let me know the course you want to pursue so that I can help you with the eligibility criteria. If you want to know about b.sc Horticulture , then candidates who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, are eligible for the course. There is no minimum % required in intermediate to be eligible. Selection  is done on the basis of their marks secured in KCET conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) in the month of May under the Agriculturist Quota , so you need to prepare for KCET.

Thankyou
