DCE Darbhanga Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College provides hostel facilities to students in two boys’ hostels.  The hostels are guarded round the clock by able private security staffs. Patrolling is also done by security personnel during night. There is a chief warden for all hostel and also separate wardens for each and every hostel in order to maintain discipline. Each hostel have arrangement of central mess. Water and electricity supply are also provided. Newspapers and magazines are put up in the common rooms. Cleanliness and hygiene are taken care of and maintained in every aspect.

The college has a well-maintained library equipped with thousands of books related to different streams of engineering. It has rightly been said that the soul of a technical college lies in its library & laboratories. In this context, the college is fortunate enough to have a quite rich, compact, and well-organized library. The library has unique collection of some foreign and Indian journals in various branches of engineering and has more than 10000 of text and reference books.  

The college computer center presently has around 150 computers connected to LAN on two floors providing internet access and programming facilities to all software-related laboratories of all the departments of the college, predominantly CE, ME, CSE, and EEE Department All academic buildings, library, administrative blocks, residential buildings, and all the hostels of college are connected using optical fiber links and around 95 Wi-Fi access points.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

The college facilities for other outdoor and indoor games like Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, etc. are available. The institute believes that playing sports helps the students to build a spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship which will help them to lead better lives.

The college invites a registered medical practitioner from time to time to examine the student’s health.
