Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: Six B.Tech courses with 360 seats are available at DCE Darbhanga. All the four-year courses are provided on the basis of the performance of the candidate in BCECE. Courses provided are:

M.Tech: DCE Darbhanga has an M.Tech program in Power System with 30 seats. Although information on admission to the M.Tech program is not given, it's usually a two-year master's program. Candidates with an appropriate B.Tech or equivalent degree are usually eligible to apply.
Here, teachers are helpful. This course doesn't make students industry ready, for that, you have to prepare yourself. Semester examination depends upon the invigilator in the room where you are sitting. Some are very hard but most of them are lenient. So one can pass the exam without studying. The pass percentage is above 90 percent.
The academics is kind of okay only. But you need put more efforts from your side. The faculties are not that approachable. They do need to update their course outline as and when the situation demands for change. Not lot os practicals are done.

Darbhanga College of Engineering admits students on the basis of their ranks obtained in Jee Main. Being a government college, the fee is low. The faculties are well qualified and most of them are PhD Scholars. Teachers are supportive. Curriculum is updated very well.
But the placement record is not up to the mark. Most of campus drives are for Computer Science students like Tata, HCl etc. Some cement manufacturing companies come for recruiting CIVIL students. The students fulfilling the eligibility criterion can apply online for the admission in CM College, in their official website. Admissions are scheduled to start from June.
