Gateway for admissions to Engineering courses @ Symbiosis
College infrastructure is good also new building construction is going on, classrooms are fully ventilated library facilities are good laboratories are clean and no hostel facilities and no playground for sports
I am passout student I studied mechanical engineering, teaching quality was good, teaching staff was friendly and helpful, yes curriculum is always updated as per university pattern, what we study not makes us job-ready
Not good for mechanical department so it's big issue for our department, salary packages are 3 to 4 lpa and no core companies came here for placement only IT computer companies take intake of more than 50% of students
Course cost per year is 1 lakh 15 thousand for open category but if category wise admission is there so it's beneficial for those who are in category for open category its very costly according to facilities
Actually there is no campus space in my college but there are small space is there where students can play indoor games there is no space for outdoor games and in indoor games there are student plays chess and table tennis like etc indoor games Staff is supportive but students are more active compare to staff but teacher support students. Location is near by station and it is safe and it handle emergency
To be honest, I don't think the college infrastructure is the best among all other Engineering campuses in the Navi Mumbai area as it lacks in open spaces and a playground making the buildings inherit a sort of a corporate aesthetic to it. As for the equipment, a variety of tools and machinery is available for practical study which are well maintained and looked after by the college staff. The library and labs are well maintained and the cafeteria maintains a good hygiene, too.
The entirety of the teaching staff is highly qualified. Both the teachers and the Lab Supervisors are very helpful to the students. The curriculum is well planned by the respective departments, considering minimum academic load on the students.
With me currently being in the Second Year of B.E in Mechanical Engineering, I always come to know from my peers and seniors that a number of companies interviews the college students within the campus every year where almost 50 to 70 percent of the students are hired for internships and jobs with decent packages.
For approximately 1Lack per year, the college provides a pretty decent learning experience which includes an excellent academic curriculum and an experienced teaching staff, though it lacks in what one would consider a proper "College Campus" in case of its infrastructure.
Besides studies, the college has a poor performance in extra curricular activities like sports, arts, etc. The college seems to me more academy centered as there are very limited options for participation in such tasks. The student committees are a little less experienced in organizing and management of such events.
Infrastructure is good. More building are going to be build now. One building is on the verge to be build and another building is going to start. Washroom are also good and clean. So no problem in that area.
Academics are very good but it still needs a update. Datta Meghe College Of Engineering is affiliated to Mumbai University. So when Mumbai University will change it's syllabus, DMCE would change it too.
It's kind of okay - okay. Many teachers are helpful and give many opportunities to excel. It's now upto you how you take that opportunity. If you are smart, you would be placed definitely. So be street smart.
You will enjoy here because the faculties are very friendly and helpful.
Needs an improvement.
Amazing experience.
Infrastructure is okay, laboratories n equipments are little old but available, library is good, projector is provided and wifi is also provided but the speed is not up to the mark. Living space is clean but there's no canteen.
I m studying civil engineering, In my branch the teaching quality is good, faculty is very supportive and informative , they help you excel in the field by guiding over various points, topics and projects.
Placements not provided for civil with their core companies.overall placement are average placement are there through Companies related to other departments. Companies on an average offer 3lpa to 4lpa salary.
All the classrooms are well maintained and well lit. Labs are up to date with the machines and other equipment. There is a huge library with an outstanding collection of books. the college also consists of an indoor Badminton court.
the teaching faculty is very helpful and the quality of teaching is excellent. The curriculum is up to date and includes the recent developments in the field. There are times when you get a chance to grab an internship opportunity through the college.
the college is supportive when it comes to placement. Many companies come to the college to recruit the students. There is a lot of opportunities given by the college for the students . As compared to other branches placement for civil is less.
yes, they have necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. projector is there. yes, they all used and well maintained. living space is clean and there is no canteen so no comments on food hygienic.
basically I'm pass-out student and my branch is computer engineering. teaching staff was good. yes, curriculum is updated but not all the development is there. yes its helpful but not fully ready for job.
about placement quality of placement is good at my college. minimum 50% students placed. highest salary package 3.5 lpa-4 lpa they go for software trainee. average salary offered by company 3 lpa, actually its not easy that much. yes, college is supportive.
course cost per year is for open category is 1 lakh 25 thousand and for sc category 15 thousand so its depends upon category and yes its worth it because i am from sc category so its beneficial for me.
college campus is good but there is literally nothing in my college campus and activities mostly like indoor games ae best in my college but there is no space for outdoor games. staff members are good and supportive. location is near by airoli station. yes it is safe. yes it handle emergencies.
No
Datta Meghe College of Engineering has very small campus. It has a campus of around 2.5 acre but its more of a complex than a campus. The laborateries are very well equiped with all the necessary equipments. It has 1 Floor dedicated to Libraries, But that Library does not have all the books which are currently in practise. Classrooms are big enough. Each classroom has a projector. It does not have any other facility like WIFI and smart boards
Academics is the only reason this college is known in the region. It has many good teachers. Many of them have completed PhDs. I am curuntly persuing bachlors in Civil engineering and all the teachers here are very well experienced in their respective subject.
Placements here are very average at about 2.5-3 Lakhs per annum. Not about all students get placed here. Many good companies comes for placement but very few students get placed. Civil engineering department students also gets placed for the IT Jobs here. college provides coaching of coding here for the students interested.
The Total fees for an Open Category student is 91K but Cast and other category students get scholarship by applying for the same. The management of the college is very good comapred to the rest of the college coming under Mumbai University. The fees here is less compared to the other colleges and can be said that the money is worth it.
Campus life is not very attractive here as there is very less open campus space and hangout spot. Students can hangout outside the college. It even has recreational area to relax for a bit. The building is of 13 floors. Generally 2 to 3 fests are conducted in this college of Sports, Technical and annual fest.
The college is very good Academically but one should not have much of other expectations from these college. Campus has parking space. Despite the campus being of total 2.5 acres theres no open campus space. As the college is an old college functioning from 24 years, the Alumnis are Ssuccessful people in their respective Civil engineering Industry.
Yes, our college infrastructure is quite good. It has all types of facilities and equipment. There are huge benches in classrooms. Our college's library is amazing and books of libraries are also well maintained.
I am a student of chemical engineering and all the faculty of chemical is highly qualified and experienced. They always tells us about recent research going in chemical world. As they are experienced, we learned a lot from their experiences.
Placement is only depend on our interview. As from last year 50 % students were placed from chemical branch. Our college also takes mock interviews for students who applied for placements, so that they should not get nervous in a interview.
As there are different fees for different casts. Yes, I definitely feel that I'm getting my money worth
The building is lacking in lot of facilities. Equipments and labs are not worth specially for chemicals engineering branch. Computer labs are pretty good and well maintained. The new building is under construction. Classrooms are smart but infrastructure is average. Environment of college library is study friendly. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students. There is no ground in college campus for outdoor games.
I'm studying in 2nd year of chemical engineering. There are few colleges for chemical engineering in Mumbai university and this is one of them. Staff is very well educated and they have very good experience in teaching. Faculties are good and treat every student equally but some are not good towards all students. College follows university curriculum. After every 5 years there is a bit change in syllabus.
N number of companies come for computer and it recruitments. There are lot of opportunities for civil engineering students. Very few chemical branch students get placement. College take workshop and training session for preparation of interview.
As I'm EBC student the fees alloted me are around 60,000. It is almost 1 lac for open category and I don't thik it is worth to pay that much amount because college is lack in lot of facilities.
Institute have very small campus. There is no free space available rather than college buildings. College is nearby the railway station. It is safe location.
Classrooms are nice and have projector for e learning. Library is well maintained. Laboratories are good but need little improvement. Canteen food is good but the sitting area is not kept clean . There is no place for sports.
I am studying Chemical Engineering here. Faculty here are good and co-operative. Teaching is good. Faculty not only teaches but also encourages students to take part in extracurricular activities. If a student is facing any issue with academic or personal life there are counselling facility for him or her which is a plus point.
From what I have heard placements in my college is good. Around 30% of students are placed every year. Minimum package one can get here is 3 lakh where as maximum package is 6.5 lakh. During placements faculties helps students.
For me it cost around 1 lakh per year. Considering the very supportive faculty it is your money's worth.
Campus life is really good. There are many clubs where students can participate. College is located at walking distance from Airoli station. Seniors here help freshers alot.
Hello aspirant !!
Considering you are a general category candidate, the chances of getting IT in any of the NITs or IIITs are very less.
However, you might get IT through any of the other examinations like MHCET or any other state CET. Please mention the details if you have appeared in any.
Meanwhile, you can check the JEE Main College Predictor to get an idea about the colleges and branches you might get.
