Degree-wise Admission Process
B.A., B.Com, B.Sc: These are three-year undergraduate programs that are the core offerings of the college. Admission is made on the basis of merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the qualifying 10+2 examination. The college offers specializations in the following programs:.
BBA, BCA: These are self-financed undergraduate programs in business administration and computer applications, respectively. The admission process is merit-based, based on the marks obtained in the 12th standard examination. These programs are designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills.
M.A. (Marathi and Hindi): These two-year postgraduate programmes in Marathi and Hindi are self-financed. Admission to the programme is through marks scored at the relevant bachelor's degree with a preference given to those students who have had the relevant language at undergraduate level.
M.Sc Botany: This two-year postgraduate program in Botany is available on self-financing basis. The admissions are strictly based on merit by taking into account the marks obtained in the B.Sc degree with Botany as the major subject. The college may conduct additional tests or interviews for final selection.
M.Phil and Ph.D in Botany: The college offers research programs in Botany at both M.Phil and Ph.D levels. The entrance test, interview, and research proposal are some of the essential criteria for getting admission in such programs. For these, the candidate should be a postgraduate in Botany or any related subject with a minimum percentage of marks according to the norms of UGC.
Faculty is good but the level of a syllabus is very poor. Shivaji University should work on upgrading syllabus. if we compare our syllabus with other University is like Mumbai University ,Delhi University ,Rajasthan University.... We don't even stand with the third year. Their first year syllabus is more better than third year syllabus.
