  • Candidates must appear and obtain a valid rank/ score in the CUET UG exam

  • Applicants are required to apply through the CSAS portal by paying a required fee (General/ OBC-NCL/ EWS Rs 250 and SC/ ST/ PwBD Rs 100). 

  • Participate in the CSAS counselling process and candidates must fill out the Delhi School of Economics as their preferred college. 

  • Seat allocation process will take place. 

  • Candidates may accept the allotted seat by visiting the college campus, getting their documents verified, and paying the admission fee.

Delhi School of Economics MA (Economics) Admission Process

  • Eligible candidates must appear for the CUET (PG) entrance exam. 

  • Next, applicants must apply for admission to the PG programme at DSE, Delhi University through the CSAS (PG) portal. 

  • Candidates have to participate in the CSAS (PG) counselling process and do choice filling for their preferred college and course. 

  • Seat allocation to the PG programme will be based solely on the scores obtained in CUET (PG) and filled choices. 

  • Candidates may accept the seat by getting their documents verified at the college and paying the required admission fee.

  • Candidates must meet the DSE MBA eligibility criteria.

  • Fill the DSE MBA application form in online mode and apy the application to successfully submit the form (General/ CW/ OBC Rs 2000 and SC/ ST/ EWS/ PwBD Rs 1000). 

  • Appear and obtain a valid CAT score

  • DES admissions to MBA programmes will be offered on the basis of CAT score, and marks obtained in matriculation and 10+2.

Delhi School of Economics provides a Master Of Philosophy (M.Phil) Economics for a duration of 2 years and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics for a minimum duration of 3 years.

Each academic program of the university is comprised of a set of Courses, some of which are crore and others are elective. In every department, each student is assigned with Professor of the department as his/her mentor to guide the students whenever needed.

This college basically good for who are doing part time job.

Delhi school of economics teachers are highly qualified and experienced some even have worked number of years in industry and have ample industry knowledge which helps us students be industry ready. The curriculum is also nice and amazing.

The college has not do improvement in placement cell.

Getting admission in Delhi School of Economics id difficult but definitely not impossible. The only issue is that 50% seats are reserved for DU candidates.
Last year a total of 359 admissions were granted of which DU M.Com merit list candidates were 174 and entrance based intakes were 185.
So, as you can see there is plenty of seat left for non DU candidates.So, with a good preparation for the  entrance examination, you can definitely secure a seat in Delhi School of Economics.
