Department of Futures Studies, University of Kerala, Trivandrum Admission Process

The University of Kerala at Trivandrum has a Department of Futures Studies that adopts an entirely new and innovative approach to higher education. This concerned area of study is technology, management, and the future. The AICTE-approved department offers postgraduate and doctoral programs that are designed to cater to the future complexities faced by students.

For most programs, students are required to hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university in a subject related to the chosen area. The minimum percentage usually required for most areas has been 55% marks or equivalent CGPA, with some relaxation for SC/ST candidates and those having teaching experience.

Entrance examinations play a crucial role in the admission process. For example, the M.Tech in Technology Management program requires candidates to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Other programmes may have their own entrance-test or specific selection procedures.
