DNGC Itanagar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides a Boy's hostel facility. The hostel has a spacious and airy building with well-furnished rooms and a well-organized dining hall, common room, and wi-fi facility (in progress).

The college provides a girls' hostel facility. The Dera Natung Government College Girls Hostel is known as Nyari Welly Girl’s Hostel located within the college campus and is an integral part of the College.

The college has a separate open-access library building equipped with RFID technology for access to textbooks, reference books, magazines, journals, and newspapers and a Reading Room that cater to regular readers. The Library has a total of 31,094 titles which include Govt. funded books, UGC-funded books, and donated books.

The college provides a Sports facility. A big playground with an open stadium developed under the UGC fund provides ample facilities to students to nurture their skills in games and sports, athletic activities, and other events for the development of a recreational and healthy environment on the campus.

The college has an Auditorium facility. A spacious auditorium equipped with all necessary modern facilities is utilized for organizing literary and cultural activities throughout the year in order to nurture and nourish the innate talents of the students in various fields. Various cultural activities like music, dance, drama, instrumental music, etc., and literary activities like seminar Symposia, extension lectures by eminent professors, Departmental seminars, debates, and discussions on important issues are organized in the auditorium.

The college provides wi-fi. DNGC provides a high-speed internet connection via Wi-Fi hotspot service which enables the users to access the service at various strategic areas of the college. The distribution of Wi-Fi connectivity is done through a router linked to the 8 Mbps BSNL lease line. The Jio company is also providing a campus Wi-Fi service.

The college has a Computer Centre and IT Cell to train the students in the basics of computer education.

The College has one well-furnished canteen and one Cafeteria to cater to the needs of the students and staff. Food items are prepared in hygienic conditions and are available at reasonable rates.

The College has a sub-post- office attached to the main administrative block facilitating the students and other staff in maintaining their postal communications and developing savings habits in a postal bank account.

The institution provides two college buses for transportation to the students and the staff. In addition to the college bus, the state transport corporation provides two buses to the college campus in the morning and evening on an annual bus card system from Nirjuli and Naharlagun. However, there should be more than 60 applicants for a bus service; else the transport department does not entertain the detainment of the bus. Students interested to avail of the transport facility (College/Transport Bus) are required to apply to the college authority or Superintendent of AP State Transport Station, Itanagar as the case may be, immediately after admission as the concessional cards are issued on First Cum First Serve basis as per the number of seats available in the bus.

The College has a vibrant Alumni Association to connect the old students and to look back on its alma mater. The Alumni of DNGC have gained eminence popularity across the state and the country.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

 The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.
