Devo Mahesh College of Engineering and Technology, sanctioned in the year 2014 at Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, has been one of the most important educational institutes. DMCET is one of the affiliated colleges approved by AICTE and enjoys the pride of being spread over a gigantic campus area of 5.66 acres. It offers various diploma programmes in Engineering fields with an enrolment of 855 students. The faculty strength of the DMCET is 40 dedicated individuals; therefore, the student-to-teacher ratio is very decent, providing personal attention and quality education.

The institution has a myriad of facilities kindled toward increasing the learning experiences and holistic development of the learners. These laboratories are well equipped to provide practical hands-on training to students in their concerned branches of engineering. DMCET offers three full-time diploma programmes in engineering, each with a duration of three years. These programmes include the Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering, and Diploma in Civil Engineering. The total approved intake capacity of the institute is 300, out of which the number for the course in Electrical Engineering is 60 and that for Mechanical Production Engineering and Civil Engineering is 120.
