Devta Mahavidhyalaya, more popularly known as Devta College after the nickname of its founding president, is an affiliated college in Noorpur, Uttar Pradesh. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to countless applicants in different streams. The system of admitting students primarily depends on merit, considering undergraduate admission marks. A different method applies for freshmen who are being admitted directly. This would entail colleges accepting up to standard 12 or equivalent examinations' performance, which is considered for B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. Admission generally takes place after the declaration of the 10+2 results, with college merit lists published on all courses.

B.Sc: Devta Mahavidhyalaya offers B.Sc programs in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Botany, and Home Science. These programs are all directly taken care of by the college based on merit. The total number of seats in B.Sc Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry program is 1,240, while in B.Sc Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry is 760.

B.Com: The B.Com program at Devta Mahavidhyalaya has an approved intake of 1,040 seats. Admission is based on the merit list prepared by the college, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

B.A.: The college offers B.A. in subjects like English, Hindi, Geography, Sociology, Home Science, Drawing and Painting, Economics, Sanskrit, Military Studies, Music, Political Science, Psychology, and History. Merit-based admissions apply for the B.A. at Devta Mahavidhyalaya. The number of seats varies from subject to subject.

The Arts Postgraduate Courses include M.A.s in English, Geography, Sociology, Hindi, Home Science, Drawing and Painting, Sanskrit, Economics, Education, History, and Political Science. Admission is based upon the merit of performance at the degree level.

M.Sc: The college offers M.Sc programs in Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Physics, and Home Science. Admission is done on the basis of generating a merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the relevant bachelor's degree.

M.Com: The merit list is prepared for admission into M.Com courses based on the performance of the candidate in B.Com or equivalent degree.

B.Ed: B.Ed has an authorized intake of 100 seats. Admission strictly depends on merit in the qualifying examination/examination conducted as per the policy of the State Government and the University.

MSW: The Master of Social Work is another program with 80 capacities that give admissions on the basis of merit.

D.El.Ed: Admission to this diploma program, currently having 50 seats, is subject to the terms by the State Government and the University.
