Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Polytechnic College is situated in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, and was started in 1998. It’s an affiliated college, accredited by AICTE; the college provides diploma courses in various branches of engineering. Located in a 11 acre bar, the college receive total of 1,441 students and total faculty of 88. Having established a focus on technical education the institute offers 9 courses in 1 degree stream that offer concentrations in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, and Computer engineering.

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Polytechnic College has most of the modern learning facilities to makes sure that the learning is done in the best way possible. Labs are available for students at the campus that include Workshop Practice Labs, Mechanics of Materials Lab, and CAD/CAM & CNC Machines Lab. The IT infrastructure is also developed; there are 4 computer labs equipped with 240 operating nodes and Internet connection. For the purpose of all round development of the student’s physical personality, the college has sports ground, a gym and a swimming pool. While the library is a source of considerable knowledge, the auditorium is used for numerous occasions and seminars. Facilities for hostels for boys and girls are available for over 4000 students including intercom facilities and modern dining halls.
