Dharma Devi Badri Prasad Smarak Mahavidyalaya, Sultanpur, is a co-educational college affiliated with a state university, recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: The college provides a Bachelor of Arts program in various subjects. Admission is based on merits from the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). Since this is a self-financed program, the students will have to pay the entire course fee.

B.Sc.: For the Bachelor of Science program, students should have done 10+2 science or an equivalent examination. Admission is based on merit considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. This is also a self-financed program.

M.A.: The college offers Master of Arts in Hindi and Home Science courses. These are self-financed postgraduate programmes. The admission should be based on the marks obtained during the pertinent undergraduate study, although nothing has been specified in this regard.

B.Ed.: The B.Ed. program has a capacity for 100 admissions. Eligible candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities scoring a minimum of 55 percent. Admission will be via a combination of merit in the qualifying examination and performance at the entrance test approved by the state government and the university.

D. El. Ed.: The D. El. Ed. program has an intake of 50 students. Admission will be made on a merit basis with respect to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as well as in an entrance examination, as laid down by the policies of the government state.
