B.Sc: The B.Sc programme is available in two groups - Bio Group and Maths Group - with an approved intake of 420 seats. Admission is based solely on merit concerning qualifying examination and the performance of candidate in science subjects.
B.Com: The Bachelor in Commerce programme has an approved intake of 120 seats. Admission will be based on qualifying examination merit but will lie more-within limits-of those students having studied commerce or related subjects in their 10+2.
MA: There are MA programmes in Sociology (120 seats), Hindi (120 seats), English (60 seats), and Geography (60 seats). Admission to these postgraduate programmes will usually involve assessment according to merit of the candidate's undergraduate degree in that particular subject.
M.Sc: Various post-graduate science programmes include M.Sc in Botany, Physics and Mathematics, with each having an approved intake limit of 20. Admission is based on the merit of the candidate's B.Sc degree in the respective subject.
B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education programme has an intake of 50 seats. Admission to this course thus involves a process wherein students are selected based on merit, determined from marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or performance during an entrance test as per state government and university policy.
D.El.Ed: Like the above, the Diploma in Elementary Education programme has an approved intake of 50 seats. However, admission to the programme is based on merit considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or performance in an entrance examination as provided state government policies.
