Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan Mahavidyalaya has a well-stocked library having nearly seventy four thousand books and regular subscription of eighty international and national journals; magazines and daily newspapers. It caters the needs of the 2800 students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The Library services are fully automated. The Library has reading halls at the ground floor and on the first floor. The reading halls accommodate three hundred students.

Located near the college main building, Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan Mahavidyalaya boys hostel is an affordable, homely and safe accommodation for about 145 students. The hostel has spacious and airy building with well-furnished rooms and well organized dining hall, common room and wi-fi facility. The common room is well equipped with recreational facilities like table-tennis, carrom-board, chessboard, LED TV with a modest home theatre, newspapers and magazines. Running hot and cold water is available round the clock in the hostel.

Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan Mahavidyalaya has a Girls Hostel, established in 2008 is located within the college campus and is an integral part of the College. Hostel affairs are co-ordinated under the guidance and supervision of the resident warden. The warden is assisted by hostel students’ union. The hostel committee under the chairmanship of the Principal frames the rules and regulations of the hostel and is the final authority in matters concerning the hostel.
