The college has a large ground and has well equipped computer lab. The classrooms are quite open and well ventilated. The library has several guides and newspapers but has only few books for deep research.
The faculty for BA Hons History is diverse and we'll qualified. The professors are helpful and provide reading material. Except for one two professors the rest are ready to address the queries of the student. The curriculum is up to date and prepares the student for higher studies.
Placements are usually available for Commerce and science students but is lacking for humanities students who generally need to go out on their own to secure internships which might lead to a job. The placement cell is really helpful and provides helpful suggestions.
The course charged ₹10,000 per year which is pocket friendly for middle class students. The college provides various benefits such as a student bus pass and various student discounts at shopping sites.
There are several clubs to join ranging from Quiz to fashion to photography. Each department has its own society who conduct their own departmental fests while the college arranges a large annual fest which attracts a large crowd of students and other people.
Yes ofcourse my collage have all necessary infrastructure and equipments and also class rooms of my collage are spacious and comfortably neet and clean my collage have good quality sitting arrangement with smart board for best experience of learning and also all the labs have needed machinery and tools and all these things are well maintained
I have completed my graduation there from punjabi language because I love to do this. And really I love my collage campus I miss those days, the teaching quality is awesome I must say, the teaching staff are well educated and some of our professors are PHD holders they teach us with there heart.. I must say my teachers are best..all the extra curriculum activities were upto dated year by year. And if I am talking about my graduation makes me jobs ready so for this I must say No.. that was my bas
About placement I want to tell you that after completing my BA hon ( punjabi ) I got the teaching job in the school as a punjabi teacher. College administration and teachers helped a lot . They always help students for getting placed in the good sector .
College fee is very genuine not too high . Very nominal fees you have to pay. After completing your course you will realize , the amount you paid for your course wouldn't not cost you much.
Everybody knows College life is the best life. If you talk about campus life of DU colleges is always fascinating. Students can play sports their . College has separate space for every activities . Like cricket ground , football ground ,basketball court , music etc. And students enjoy the calm and relax atmosphere of the library. That's fully air conditioned and has two separate floor.
Yes ofcourse my collage is good for one who wants to his/her graduation. You can get best learning experience there
The infrastructure of our college is good as it provides us with all kinds of facilities. It has a fully air conditioned library and an auditorium. Big canteen but average food. Also has a playground and an amphi theatre where events are held.
I'm pursuing bachelors in economics here from dyal singh college. Teachers are good ,highly qualified and helpful. The course curriculum is also good. The department is concerned with students' need and studies.
Our college does not offer that much placements for our course but there are pretty good placements for commerce related courses. The placement cell does work really hard to meet with students needs and brings in good opportunities.
Being a part of the central university, the fees is pretty affordable. Offers quality education at a minimal fees. My course fees is around 13k per annum. I do feel I'm receiving what my money's worth.
eventful life here at this college. A lot of events keep happening. You can be a part of different societies for your careers. The college is adjacent with a metro station, so that reduces the travel cost.
I do recommend this college to you. It's overall fun to be here
College has all the necessary infrastructure. State-of-the-art classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, spacious library, modern sports complex, and comfortable hostels. A large and comprehensive library with a wide range of resources A modern sports complex with facilities for a variety of sports A vibrant campus life with a variety of student organizations and activities.
The curriculum is diverse and well updated. The faculty is throughly knowledgeable about their respective fields. Rigorous academic programs taught by distinguished faculty who are experts in their field and committed to student success.
A good placement cell can be a valuable asset to a college, as it can help students secure high-paying jobs after graduation. In the case of a college with an average package of 5 LPA and a highest package of 28 LPA, the placement cell has clearly been doing a good job.
our college provides a lot of facilities like fully air conditioned libraries, big football and basketball fields, a hygienic canteen with delicious food, computer labs and an amphi theatre where most of the events take place.
I'm doing bachelors in economics honours here from Dyal Singh University. The quality of education being provided has certainly helped me enhance my spectrum of knowledge. Moreover, the teachers are very helpful as well.
A pretty good placement cell offering good opportunities along with fancy packages. The placement cell has been working pretty hard to land good opportunities. A decent fraction of students get placed at my college.
Being a part of the Central University, the fee structure is below average. I'm definitely getting what my money's worth in fact even more than that. The average fee of my course is around 13,500 per annum.
events happen on a frequent basis which gives students a sense of joy. There are a number of societies that you can be part of which is beneficial for your careers. The college is located at a pretty safe place surrounded by NIA headquaters.
good college, would definitely recommend.
The canteen is very big and fun. The menu has various items and the food is delicious. The campus is huge and clean as well. It's known for its basketball and football fields. The amphitheatre is very popular amongst students.
I'm pursuing Ba geography honours because I'm preparing for upsc civil service exam. The faculty is knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. Never have I ever faced any issue with any teacher. The quality of education provided has been a really good kick start for my career
The placement cell of our college is pretty active bringing in amazing opportunities for students with good packages. The highest package offered is around 8LPA. A decent fraction of students get placed at our college.
Being a delhi University college, the fees is affordable for people from all walks of life. My course fees stands at around 14k per annum which in my opinion is a pretty good deal.
A lot of events keep happening at our college. You can be a part of numerous societies here which are going to hone your skills. The college shares a boundary with the NIA headquarters, hence is at a very safe location.
Overall I'd say it's a good college.
Quite old , wifi doesn’t work, canteens is just okiesh not so hygienic but food is cheap and you could survive on it if you’d prefer to . Not so clean washrooms but again you’d survive. Basketball court is not good and they’re not fixing it anytime soon.
Great teachers but sometimes they come on time at the time they don’t. Teachers are good. They try to explain you every thing. But I do not always take your classes. Some teachers do some teachers are very mansions but others or not.
The placement cell is good. The member a really hard-working and they’re good at the jobs. There is a WhatsApp group of all the students who want to seek placements or any other internship opportunity.
The infrastructure and other facilities of the college is quite good. Focussing on chemistry as it was my subject the staff is really supportive and tge labs are efficient. College has one of the largest campus among all the Delhi University colleges.
Supportive and encouraging staff . The syllabus is vast and you have dedicated teachers who are always ready to solve your doubts . Students are helpful . Being a students of chemistry hons , I had a very supportive and friendly lab staff , also the labs were very efficient .
Placements are not that certain but uf you are an outstanding student then surely you may get one. Many placement cells usually visit to the college providing greater opportunities to the upcoming youth
The fee is affordable for every student coming from a middle class or even below average family background. Good education at such an affordable fee is appreciating
Campus atmosphere is lively and friendly . Sometimes you may cone across some fights but the overall college environment is good.
It is a good college specialty focusing on science courses
So you're here because you might be seeking to take admission to Dyal Singh College, Delhi University. So if we will talk about infrastructure then it's pretty good as compared to other Delhi University colleges. It has 2 separate buildings and libraries for both Morning and evening. This college has big grounds and sports grounds and obviously, a rose garden is an eye-catcher. There is a girl's common room. Computer labs don't work efficiently .The college has clean surroundings. AndLabsAreGood
At Dyal Singh College I am pursuing B.com If I'll talk about academics then it's the hype that Delhi University has good academics Any time teacher cancels a class and it feels like a waste to come No doubt Some teachers are good but there are teachers don't bother whether student understands it or not At the end of the semester if the syllabus is not completed they left it So don't have so many expectations related to academics because you have to study on your own to pass you can't rely on clg
The college doesn't offer good placements and the average package you can expect is around 4.75-5LPA.hest salary package offered by this college was of 23LPA . 116+ companies came but only around 115 students were placed. So you can not expect good placement from this college and especially form B.com. You have to do your internships on your own to build your resume and you can apply off campus if you don't get placed. But yes if you work hard you can expect good placements but it depends on you
My course cost around 11-12K per year and the graduation can be completed within 40-42k including all the exam fees which are too low as compared to other colleges. I feel it's value for money because, at the end of graduation, you'll be getting a degree from Delhi University which has so much value and that matters. So you can go for it if you want a good degree without so much expenditure.
The campus is beautiful and there are various societies where you can engage And the location of this college is the best i.e Lodhi Road Nearby you have humayun tomb, lodhi garden, jln stadium, art gallery, sunder nursery and the beautiful, peaceful clean road Nearest metro which is just 50ms away from college is JLN stadium and JLN Bus stand is just close But there is no campus life because student don't come, teacher's cancels the class so you'll not enjoy the campus life yes youCan havefun outside
If you are looking for the life of like student of the year then don't go for any college of delhi university. If you have money then you can do you graduation from private institutes because it has campus life, you can enjoy there. In delhi university because there is no such requirement of attendance many students don't come and you can not enjoy your college life and yes you'll also not go because classes gets cancel. But if you don't want spend much you can go for it, it's best in this case.
The college Infrastructure is quite outdated and not at par with modern teaching and technology. There could be provision for smart boards and also there could a common area having arcade and table tennis and other relaxing things to do .
Teachers most of the time don't take classes and even when they do so the they teach just for formality. The curriculum is better than before with inclusion of various real life experience subjects like Back ,Sea etc.
No idea about placements right now as I am currently in my second year and haven't given a fair thought to it , but the overall placement cell of our college is hardworking and very professional so I am not worried much about that.
As it is a government college it costed me around ₹14,000 for an year and additional ₹3,000for examination forms. Honestly it is quite cheap compared to any private college in the country and it comes with Delhi University certificate.
The campus life is above average as the campus is quite big so plenty to places to chill .The locality of our college is quite porsch like various institutional building are located including CBI ,NIA etc. The best part about the campus is it's hardly 10 steps walk from metro exit to college premises.
Overall college is okay in terms of locality and campus building but there is huge scope of improvement in managing students and increase security so as to avoid the fights happening in college. Smart boards are a must which are missing.
