Everything is hygienic and clean. Washrooms are clean. All facilities are nice. Classrooms, libraries, playground everything is good. Everything is well maintained. My college has all necessary infrastructure and facilities.
I'm studying BA english hons. English is one of my favourite subjects and i enjoy studying english. My curriculum as of now is not so updated , it needs development. I need to do more internships for for improvement.
Quality of placements is not so good. Not many students get placements of their interests. Mainly bcom Or bcom hons students get placements other courses have to struggle outside the college for placements.
My per year cost is 12,900
Campus life is nice
I love my college
College buildings and area is very large and acquires a lot of space, it has open ground and canteen and amphitheater for functions. Auditorium is provided for small gathering and for freshers. Overall a very good infrastructure.
I am studying history hons at dyal singh evening college. It is introduced for the first time in this college, i am studying history hons for knowledge and future betterment. The teachers are very patient and supportive. And the classes are always on time. And also they take extra classes if needed.
Placements are usually provided for bcom hons. Bcom hons students attract the placement options in the college. History hons has been just introduced so I however, lack the knowledge about the package provided yet. This is because i still have to graduate the second year.
The avg fees for my fees is 12000/-.The experience is good, so money is definitely worth it.
Campus life is the best thing for a distant student out of delhi even, college engages us in several societies to take up part in different events within the college, they form up trips and plan events in the college, having full support from the teachers. The teachers, the staff are very cooperative.
Our college dyal singh evening college is full fleged day college, the classes start from the morning only. My Experience or my happy journey of my college is very joyful, involving all the aspects, and college life has alot to offer.
based on my experience, my college has almost every equipment and furniture necessary in campus. It has well-settled library with necessary books and is also air-conditioned providing a great relief while studying. College has not hostel but has a very good location where good conditioned pg for students are available . If i talk about cclassrooms and auditorium, they are well furnished, quiet impressive and spacious. Cantene food quality is also hygienic and available at reasonable price.
I'm studying literature theories and background , biographies of famous authors and many interesting novels. I have to say that the quality of teaching of our faculty is very impressive and understandable. Teachers get in touch with students regularly and provide a space to discuss and speak their own perspective too. I think i have got the best faculty of English department in my college and which includes all the updated curriculum and latest developed knowledge.
College has a society named THE PLACEMENT CELL which offers secured, reputed jobs and internship to all year students every year. I myself has done an internship in my first year from the same. Students are hired on the basis of their interviews and effective CVs. Also, companies consider Nobel and hard working students first . My college is so supportive, whether it's our HODs or Principal sir or seniors.
My annual fees for English honors is Rs.12500 which is quiet reasonable for the quality of education I'm being provided. In comparison to other colleges offering the same course, i am grateful for the amount I'm paying. It's total worth to study in this college with this amount. I'm provided each and every facility that a overpaid college provide to their literature student. A college is mainly about the faculty and my professors are teaching me to their best potential.
In the whole University of delhi, our college is the only one who has this much best location for college. If girls are thinking to take admission please go for it. We are in south delhi which i consider safe and secured. Our college is next to metro station and has one of the biggest campus. Students can engage in Art and culture society, sports, commerce society, eco club, and many other societies and department which will enhance your experience at its peak.
Moreover,I would like to say studying in this college is going to be so much worth and productive and fun. Khan market and lodhi garden is just 10 mint distanced and add beauty to its location. Also, every year college fest is a blast full of energy. There is no problem of food and transport around college.
The infrastructure of the college is up to the mark, the building is beautifully designed and the classrooms are very spacious, clean toilets makes our lives much easier. The library of the college is the best part, where you can easily study and get all the books that you need.
The methodology of teaching is same as most colleges, although teachers really help you that's usually not common colleges where professor ignore you as if you belong to some other planet, the curriculum is same as all other du colleges
There is a placement cell in the college that conducts internship fairs annually and help students to get an exposure of the corporate world, they also conduct seminars that helps you, how to prepare your self for an interview and other necessary skills that are required to land a job.
The fees of the college is pretty low, and it also varies depending upon your caste. The general category have to pay the highest fee, but that is pretty low compared to other private colleges.
College infrastructure is quite good as compare to other DU colleges. Facilities and equipment's are good in terms of academics but if you compare for sports its not that much good. On the other hand food provided by canteen is quite good and hygienic
In terms of academics its not that much strict and the teachers are quite educated and friendly. Its just like other colleges where students don't come to the class and just by bond they can give exams
Placements are quite okay in this college not that good not that bad but i think if you go out without placement from college then you will find better jobs then college. But college is quite supportive in terms of placements of students
My college fees is 10000 and i am very satisfied with the fee structure as it is same as every DU college and people are quite friendly here and i find that my money is worth it and you must go for ths college
In terms of Campus life it just like other DU colleges and also in the campus politics is there and if yu have keen interest in politics then you must take admission in this college and location is quite good and near to the metro station
GOOD COLLEGE
For the academic purpose infrastructure is good but in the view point of sports there is no separate field for cricket and football there is lack of sports equipments. Again if we see academics, library has much improved in last couple of years there is lot of newspaper, students find it on table which further enhancing our intellectual thinking and perspectives.
In dyal singh evening college teachers are more focused and enthusiastic. They don't just focus to complete the courses in time but whenever a need arises they inculcate various other stuffs to improve one's personality and behaviour.
In dyal Singh evening college if we talk about placements there is much needed upgradation in the companies which are coming to provide various opportunities to the students. Recently there was an internship fair but the companies are not that up to the mark. In South Delhi campus students of dyal Singh evening college students are demanding big 4 to offer of precious opportunities for the upliftment of their personality ,ability and work performance.
Admission in Delhi university is one's, like dream comes true it is known for its brand value and and the cost they offer for each course. The course cost per year is so low that it benefits to the lower income group and provide a standard base to all the students. Studying in DU is much money worthy. Yes maybe this is one reason that it is one of the largest Asia university.
If we talk about college campus it is one of the the largest campus in the south Delhi campus. the environmental department has done a lot of work to improve the greenery of the campus. But there is not much playing area for the students and this is the worst thing this campus has. Teachers are supportive and of course the don't take leaves unless and until there is an urgent need. If we talk about safety it's safe. The top authorities are cooperative and they handle emergencies very well.
Everything is good in dyal Singh evening college but in summers, due to hot weather students feel sweating all around and there is no air conditioner in the whole campus except in library. Various societies of this college are doing well and giving great opportunities to students to show their hidden talents and to uplift their passion. Students having stage fear are now doing well.
Everything is maintained upto a limit only. We share our canteen with morning college. We have single playground for both the colleges. We face problems for seminar hall, auditorium and amphitheatre, because they usually already booked by morning colleges. Food is okay.
I am a student of B.com(hons.) and faculty members are so good no doubt. They are all good at teaching, some of them are not that much good. Yes, they keep on updating us about new curriculum and help up in study according to that.
I am a second year student right now, so I don't enough information about this but u heard many times, hardly students get any placement from our college, unlike other colleges. The placement is done by the help of our placement cell of our college, they organise fairs for this.
Yes, I am paying only 13000 per year for this course. Being a student of Delhi University, I am fully satisfied. I think I am getting money's worth because of teachers.
Campus life is nice though. Our college has AnC club for for artist, that works well. They keep on organising even for all the students. We have commerce department which organise amazing events every week. Worst as I told you, it's hard to book auditorium and seminar hall. Yes, it's at very safe and amazing place, nearby NHC and lodhi garden.
Nothing.
