The college has library plays a vital role in achieving the cherished objectives of improving the education standard by stimulating academic interest among the student's community. It has a collection of nearly 8771 books, 3001 titles, 460 CD-ROMs, 68 National Journals, Internet browsing, Lending, Reference and Reprographic facilities, Study Halls with a capacity of 200 STUDENT/FACULTY. It also has a separate reading section to serve the undergraduate and postgraduate students. Personal belongings (files, folders, bags, jerkins, umbrellas, issued books, etc) are not allowed inside the library.Students/Staff should scan their ID cards in the E-Gate Register scanner while entering the library. The library users should possess their ID cards while they are inside the library. Books will be issued only on the production of a Bar-coded ID card. Use of Mobile phones is not allowed inside the library. Complete silence is to be maintained inside the library. If the conversation is necessary, that should be in a low tone only a formal dress code should be allowed. The arrangement of chairs and other furniture in the reading area should not be disturbed. The librarian reserves the right to cancel the membership of any member found misbehaving, abusing the library staff, or behaving in an indecent manner

The college has provides all sports and games facilities along with immense opportunities for the students to prove their skills and prowess in sports and games. The Department of Physical Education is equipped with all indoor and outdoor facilities for the staff and students. We encourage all the students to take part in intramural and extramural tournaments like Tamilnadu InterEngineering Sports (TIES) and open tournaments. Facilities are provided for Football, Cricket, Volley Ball, Tennis, Basket Ball, Badminton, indoor games, 400 meters standard Athletics Track. The college Data Centre complies with all typical standards of a Corporate DATA Centre Setup. All the Blocks are connected in Star Topology with the DATA Centre being the central point. The Data Centre Consists of Core Switch, Router, Firewall, and Blade Server System, Common Storage System. Excel DATA Centre serves its students to access common IT facilities like Login Authentication, Secure Internet, Excel Knowledge Assets, Digital Repository System, Digital Syllabus Contents, and more.

The college provides buses for the day-scholars and staff members. The college buses ply to several destinations to cover a radius of 50 KM to the places like Erode, Chittode, Gobichettipalayam, Bhavani, Salem, Mettur, Andiyur, Sankari, Tiruchengode, Komarapalayam, Ammapettai, Edappadi, etc. A nominal fee is collected towards the bus fare from the students and staff members on the basis of their boarding point. In addition to these, a large number of state transport corporations and private buses are plying in both the directions of the institutions. For the benefit of Students and Faculty members, Excel Institution's buses are being operated from nearby places like Sankari, Salem, Omalur, Mettur, Tiruchengode, Erode, Arachaloor, Anthiyur, Thindal, Bhavani, Chennimalai, Edappadi, and Komarapalayam. Transport is provided at a convenient time to reach the campus. A fleet of new buses is running for the day scholars comfortably to and from their homes. Public Transport is quite convenient and frequent because the campus is located on National Highway (47).All private buses plying between Salem and Coimbatore stop in front of the Excel Institutions Campus.
